Staff were very friendly and accommodated my late check in.

No room service and housekeeping service. Very strict rule for check-in time at 4:00pm. The staff locked the office door all the time. Very inconvenient for tourists and travellers.

Nice view of the ocean. Reasonably priced and unit had a small kitchen. Front area parking is on the busy road. Caution when getting and out of parking spaces. Friendly and helpful staff.

We did not receive any house keeping for our entire duration of stay. We got some excuse or another from the managing staff.

The building doesn’t look great on the outside, but the room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was super-friendly. And it was a good price! And it’s right on the beach! I agree with some other reviewers that the smell of cleaning products was very strong and persistent. To me, it was still very worth it.

Being on the oceanfront was the best but the beach was pretty rocky. Beautiful views and nice lawn to relax on however there weren’t enough lawn chairs. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the rooms have been redone and they were really nice and comfortable and clean. There’s an excellent restaurant a couple blocks away.

The best thing about this property is that it is right on the ocean.

It was fine. All about the view here. Comfortable beds, clean. Kitchen was a loosely defined term . No cups, cutlery or glasses.

Loved that it was a shoreline property. Nice green space and outdoor seating to enjoy the view and scenery. Nice to sit outside our room and watch the sunset. Would have been nice to have air conditioning or at least a lockable screen door to allow air to come in. Double beds made it tight for a family of four

No air conditioning was a problem our 1st night. When the smoke from Port Alberni wildfire came on our 3rd night it permeated the room and was uncomfortable. Must have come under the door and through the walls. No clock in room. fridge was wonky.....need a wedge under a leg. Beds comfortable. Loved the sliding doors to patio and the view there. Good bathroom. Easy driving distance to Qualiculm village. Friendly staff.

Great stay! Needs to be fixed in back of the hotel. (Ocean did a number on the sea wall and exterior back walls. Great front desk ladies! You are right on the beach!! Excellent time!!

I have stayed here multiple times over the years. Now all renovated, though the outside still needs a good coat of paint. I still love coming here. Best view in town.

Great place to stay and watch the ocean. When the tide comes in, the waves crash on the stone wall and when the tide is out, the beach is great. We saw a seal, blue herrons, and other sea birds.

We enjoyed staying at this property with a beautiful ocean view. The room was very clean and it came with a kitchen which was great for saving money on meals out. The location was excellent as it was a short drive from local shops, and exploring places like Parkville and Coombs. The service here was welcoming and friendly. Our room opened onto the lower grassy courtyard which had a lovely pond and was family friendly. The area felt safe with no annoying partiers or smokers to interfere with the enjoyment of our stay. We especially enjoyed viewing the beautiful evening sunsets.
