hotel was a very pleasant surprise. clean and spacious rooms, helpful staff. Much better than the bigger hotel across the street.

Great staff, great location, great room

Parking was a bit of an issue. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient, even helping us upstairs with pur luggage.

Gorgeous room with an ocean view. Lots of room, huge tub. We took local transportation from the ferry and it wa just a few blocks from where it stopped. Definitely will be back.

It was a pleasant stay. Very lovely little hotel on Sidney’s waterfront . Conveniently located to everything.

Incredibly friendly staff, every interaction we had was pleasant. The hotel itself is decorated pleasantly, it’s homey. However, the rooms are outdated. The price tag is for the location not the quality of the rooms; one expects something a little fancier for $200+ a night. The kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker, and fridge, no cooktop), TV, and bedding are comparable to a motel a third of the price. Plus side is, the room was very clean. And a great view of the pier. Breakfast was decent.

Everything was great.

Check-in was fast & courteous; plenty of free parking & spacious, clean rooms. The sound proofing between rooms is thin: can hear the lady complain about her relationship next store & the heavy walker above me. Breakfast options also very vast from fruit, to cereal, english muffins, etc.

Excellent location on the waterfront with walkways along the harbour. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. A grocery store is right across the street. We had a room on the second floor with a view of the ocean. The room was adequate, however the bathroom is small. The hotel is older and dated but has been kept up. We stayed the first week of January, 2026 so didn't need air conditioning but noticed that it is located in the wall next to the window. The room has a balcony which is nice. It also has a small electric fireplace which doesn't add anything to the room because of where it is located. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected and had a couple of hot items. The Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our staff and were quite comfortable.
