Rooms were clean. Nice staff. Location is central, walkable area to any old town spots, restaurants and pubs. Hotel is old and needs renovation. Restaurant on site brings some smell and noise to rooms on first and second floor.

Clean Great location friendly staff gem in the middle of rhe city

Good, not great. No office for check in. Had to check in by cell phone from outside in the street. (which was mentioned in the description… Still a hassle.) Took several calls and more than 15 minutes to get an answer. The process was disconcerting after a very long drive. The Duckworth is a heritage house on a main street. My room was unfortunately on the street side of the building. Road noise coming into the room can be excessive. A surprise, large security deposit was charged also. That said; the staff was wonderful while dealing with them. The old room had charm and they kept it spotless. Had all the amenities you could need. The price was excellent. The staff is doing the best they can with what they have. It’s a kind of place I wish I could give five stars.

Good price and great location. However every time I tried to shower, there was no hot water and that was a huge problem.

The room was in desperate need of repair. The hotel was very noisy. We called the man that guided us to our room by phone and it was too loud for him to hear us. We left!!

All was good a nice place only complaint was reslly close to bar and was loud but slept well very comfortable

Fun place to stay. Would recommend hotel finish with drywall repairs in rooms. Shower in one of our rooms was too small! Excellent food in restaurant and bar. Very nice staff.

My complaint would be with your cable provider. It is awful as the TV cuts out more than it stays on!

It's over a restaurant bar so they noise was loud. It feels like just being in your bedroom as that is exactly what it is. It's more for solo personal travel and not for business. Nice little room and place if you're stopping in Nfld.
