Beautiful view of lake

The bathroom could use a towel hook. The room could use a real coffee machine instead of a press coffee unit which had no directions on how to use it. It would also help to have a paper guide for the tv to let us know what channels were available. Also less pillows and maybe an extra blanket tucked away in case of cool night

The room was dark, could use more lighting. As for the cleanliness there is room for improvement, dusty shelves carpet (they should buy a new vacuum). The outside should be cleaned more. Sand and stuff on the balcony, riped overlay on the balcony. For the price 224$ they could do better.

Easy parking, clean room, nice staff!

Although checkin time is 3 to 8 pm, due to time change I realized I would arrive at 2. I called hotel at 12 am and asked if I could checkin at 2 instead as I would be traveling 8 hours. They said no get they only had 1 cleaner and wouldn't take exception. I got there at 3 and was the only one checking in so they could have done this for me. Living room sofa was dirty and worn.

Clean room and bathroom. Safe parking.. Do not arrive early…no transactions until 3:00. Close to the water.

Such a cute inn outside of Kenora would want to stay longer next time. The soundproofing in the rooms aren't great everyone was very respectful. Very nice patio space and close to a local Beach.

We were completely unsatisfied with our stay from start to finish. Check in was difficult as the person didn’t seem to have time to effectively communicate with me. The building is in disrepair. We had to struggle carry our bags down a flight of stairs and then up another flight of stairs. Had we been older or unfit we would not have been able to get our stuff up to our room. The handrail for the stairs was completely rusty. The patio decking at the front was weathered plywood. The back patio had furniture with cushions that had been left out all winter. The bathroom window, vents and air conditioner was filthy. If we’d wanted to make coffee there wouldn’t have been nearly enough grounds. I took quite a few photos. They charged us 175.00 and we feel completely ripped off.

Good stay would stay again

Very clean, friendly and accommodating staff. Safe parking, nice area to stay by the lake.

My husband and I always look forward to staying at Timberland Inn. The staff, rooms, location, and everything that they have to offer; are always wonderful. It’s our favourite getaway to press the refresh button from our daily life. Our restcation away from home.

The bed was great, well decorated, really quiet, nice view of the lake from the upper rooms. Unfortunately really lacking in the usual hotel amenities: no tea, no shampoo, and most importantly no soap. Like none at all.

Laundry bag full of dirty linens was left in my room. Water pressure is terrible

We enjoyed our short stay and planning to go back. We look forward to trying the restaurant, however, was closed due to holidays.

Nice! Clean, soft bed.

We thought the brewery was nearby but this was not the case. For some reason, that is the theme of the hotel but there is nothing to do with beer other than a poster in our room. The spa tub was nice. It was evident the room had not been used in a long time and had not been checked on before our arrival from the couple of dead winter bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Also a few hairs stuck to the side of the sink. The couches were terrible and definitely need replacing. Nonetheless, this was a nice getaway. The ceilings made it feel cottagey, the view was nice from the top balcony. The balcony could have been cleaned too. Old pop can used as an ashtray was gross. 2 tvs was nice. There wasn’t enough coffee for the French press.

The owners are nice, the pet policy is good. Expensive room for a poor quality bed, and an extremely loud heater.

Great place to stay quiet beatiful lake view we will stay there again.
