Waterfront hotel used to be a great place to stay, it’s unfortunately gone down hill a bit over the years. I got a superior room which was not superior whatsoever, rooms were bare minimum, locks on my door were broken, the bar closes at 11:30pm which is super inconvenient, parking is extra, the staff however was very friendly and helpful. The pricing was decent for what it is, anything more than $200/night would be a big stretch. All in all it was just okay.

The hotel is in a nice location. However, the mattress we had was practically sunken. The parking at the hotel was terrible. No designated parking for the hotel, although guests are charged for parking. The breakfast area is very small, poorly-designed, and crowded to the point of not being useful. Same for the seating area, it was very limited. On Saturday morning, there was a foot race at the park next door. Which would be fun, usually. Except the finish line and the blaring loudspeakers were about 100 feet from our room. I heard every runner's race time. However, I can say the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel gym closed. Parking a problem. Saved lots of $$ by parking in public lot 2 blocks away Hotel is in a great location!!

I was grateful to have a room available last minute. It's extremely centrally located. There was no parking available on the premises but we were directed to a parking building a couple of blocks away that had free parking on the weekends. The room was fine. Big tv. There was no creamer for the Keurig coffee but happy to have coffee. It's right on the boardwalk and within walking distance to every restaurant we went to. Would stay again.

Great location, walkable to many restaurants and bars. Nice view of the water but a noisy spot with the busy road below and traffic. Unfortunately parking is also extra. Taylor at the front desk was lovely.

The hotel was in a perfect location next to Spencer Park, the lake and downtown Burlington. I gave it a 3 star as I had paid extra for a lake facing room and was told we would be overlooking the park instead we were over looking a roof facing a parking lot. When we were getting ready for bed we found the blackout blind wouldn’t roll down, both my husband and I tried. It was late and my husband just wanted to go to sleep. This was supposed to be a relaxing get away as my husband has cancer but instead the bright sun woke us up at 6:30. The lamp on one side of the bed was missing from the wall and there was just a plate over the wires so there was no place to plug anything in on the night table. I feel that because we booked through a third party we were given an inferior room and was told no other King bed rooms was available. Not we paid less than others would. I explained the problems on check out and the manager come by but didn’t say anything. The receptionist said she would look into getting things repaired but that didn’t make it better for us. Disappointing

Staff on check-in and questions were amazing. I got upgraded to water-view from general room at no charge. The property and park nearby are absolutely stunning. Issues come from the room - the room was very obviously dated - tears in wallpaper, dents in walls, A/C not working (fan only), USB plug-ins missing the actual plug in so it doesn't work, TV with 480p presentation (my phone had better resolution to watch the game). Hotel is very obviously geared towards the location and event-hosting.

It is in a very beautiful area…right on Lake Ontario, beside a lovely park, lots of trails to follow and many wonderful food and gelato shops around!! I’ll be picking this hotel if I’m in the area again!

Location location. We love this hotel on the waterfront Walking distance to two wonderful restaurants (Isabelle and Spencer's) Both have super patios. Clean, quiet, safe area. Average included breakfast but who cares in such a beautiful area. Price is great given other trends in hotel costs. Highly recommended

The hotel was a little tired. Everything was clean but the beds were uncomfortable and the bathtub didn’t have a plug so could only be used for showering. The breakfast included hot and cold choices but all the utensils, cups and plates were throw away.

My phone was not connected to the front desk or any other number. Peeling paint on the ceiling above the pool. Unclean, dirty corner on wall of pool Bathtub did not drain. I spoke to front desk who said it would be fixed. When I returned hours later, asked same staff member who said they think it was fixed. It was not. I do not enjoy showering in ankle deep or deeper water. I spoke to staff morning of check out. Told them of the problems. They wanted to send someone up. I said no leaving this morning. But, despite being told don’t interrupt us and a do not disturb sign on it, they banged on the door and wanted in. Also, very sad breakfast. No pancakes or waffle maker. But, the location was very nice.

Conveniently located for a wedding next-door. Huge rooms and very comfortable beds.

Beautiful property, lovely and comfy room. Will be back.
