Helpful staff, always willing to help. Tasty breakfast although on the pricey side. Comfortable room with a beautiful view of the ocean. Will definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, beautiful pool views of the Boca grande, multiple pools great food and super friendly staff! Rooms were clean and perfect for my needs.

Property was great only down side is a very loud bed in the master suite, you couldn't move without waking yourself up as the bed Support or frame was very old sounding. Elevators were a pain and need to be fixed as only one or two worked the whole time. Other than that great hotel and location.

Everything was amazing! The buffet breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very courteous. The outdoor pools were amazing and our room was very clean.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The views were absolutely beautiful, especially from the room and pool area. Everything was very clean and well maintained throughout the property. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The service truly made the experience even better. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and stunning views.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Cartagena was absolutely wonderful. The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and had a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere throughout. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for accommodating our family, especially with our small toddler. What truly made our experience stand out was the outstanding customer service. Every hotel staff member we encountered were extremely kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A very special thank you to Natalie from the Regency Club, who was absolutely exceptional. She truly went out of her way to assist us during our stay and made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Her kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed and greatly enhanced our overall experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hyatt Regency Cartagena to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning in the future!

I hesitated to book this hotel because of a few negative reviews, but after doing my research and trusting my instincts, I’m SO glad I chose it. If you want an experience that guarantees amazing memories, this is the place. The hotel is literally steps from the beach; any closer and you’d be sleeping on it. A mall with affordable food, European brands, local shops, and international options is just a few feet away, so you’ll never run out of things to eat or explore. Prefer to stay on the property? You can. The food at Kokau is outstanding (order the Posta Cartagenera!), and the poolside and outdoor restaurants are just as good. There’s even a gelateria with every sweet treat imaginable. Plenty of relaxing spaces, ocean breeze, and fun areas to enjoy watching a soccer game, having a beer or reading a book. We upgraded to access the 30th floor, and it was worth every penny; excellent breakfast and afternoon buffets with traditional and international food options. Our one‑bedroom king suite was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The entire property is kept in top condition. Huge thanks to Daniel at reception for the warm welcome. Manuel Franco and Alexis made our pool cabana experience feel like royalty for my birthday. Fernanda perfected our morning "tinto" and taught us about local fruits. And you must book a coffee‑grounds massage with Nicole—professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. You will not regret staying here.
