호텔 푼타 레오나

처음 체크인을 할때 직원들이 기계적으로 말한다는 느낌이 들었다 .본인들의 할말만 .... 물론 친절한 직원도 있었으나 몇몇은 호텔직원이 맞나싶을정도의 미소없는인사도 있었다. 그리고 호텔안의 객실은 굉장히 멀리 떨어져 있었고 그 중간중간 다른 호텔들도 있어서 리셉션 까지 또는 식당까지 걸어다닐 거리는 아니다 골프카를 빌릴 것을 매우 추천한다

The breakfast was very good. Iur rooms were away from the beach but they were nice rooms

100% recomendado, si hay que tener presente que las cabinas están lejos de la playa y de la piscina. si uno va en carro es posible que cueste encontrar parqueo y el servicio de la buseta es escaso y solo brinda servicio hasta las 5pm.

Desayuno excelente; el personal muy atento y todo muy limpio. La comida en el restaurante de Playa Blanca cara para la calidad pero las instalaciones muy cómodas

We stayed in Bella Leona apartments that definitely need updates (broken blinds, leaking flush valves, old mirrors, etc). The apartment complex was outside (around 1/2 mile) and it wasn’t easy to communicate with the staff when we needed, so be aware of that if you’re thinking of booking this apartment. On the other hand, the resort is amazing, the staff is cordial and happy. It’s clean, the amenities are great and well maintained. The activities available are great (butterfly garden, guided hike and workout in the pool). It’s almost 2 hours away from the airport. It was easy to drive there, but make sure you enter in ‘Leona beach club and resort’ entrance because the GPS indicated a non-paved road and wasn’t fun at all. The food in the restaurants are good and not that expensive. They even have a grocery store in the resort with the same price range as the outside grocery stores. In this resort you will be in touch with nature and it’s amazing to wake up with the sound of birds, seeing the macaws, iguanas and raccoons. The beach is clean, no waves and warm water (we visited the hotel in April). Overall it was a great experience.

Air conditioning was poor. Called maintenance twice and didn’t get it fixed

It just wasn't what we were expecting. The sunset views and the beach, well Playa Blanca was breathtaking. Playa Mantas was pretty dirty and we only stayed there long enough to find out how to get to Playa Blanca. The breakfast was probably the best part and most accurate. I was traveling with my mother and we both have mobility issues. Maybe I did not research enough but I was under the impression that the beach was "steps" from the resort and they could accommodate mobility issues. We requested a room with h

El desayuno fresco delicioso. La limpieza de la habitación excelente. La visita, a, la playa es muy buena solamente que no hay sillas ni camastros ni sombrillas. Esta, es, la segunda vez que visito el lugar. Me gustaría, que tuvieran estos mobiliarios como los otros hoteles de la zona.

This is a very strange property. There are a lot of hotels, private condominiums sharing the same facilities but having separate gated access. The common grounds, however, aren’t being looked after so well. The Selvamar section we stayed in was okay, but a bit tired now. Room was much smaller than anywhere else we stayed in Costa Rica, but it was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, but the restaurant by the main pool where we had a dinner wasn’t the best and not worth the money they charge. Two pools are kids friendly and they are of pretty decent size, but not very deep. Some other activities, like mini golf, are charged separately. There is a new high-rise apartment building buying built right by the main pool area & beach, which will look awful. I wouldn’t stay here again, because it doesn’t provide the Costa Rica experience I like, it’s more like something taken out of Benidorm, but I do understand why some might be very keen on it.

It’s safe and quiet.

The breakfast was excellent. The room was enough clean. The staff nice and frienfly.

Lovely rooms, delicious breakfast and very convenient to have access to the swimming pools and playa blanca

Los empleados en general son muy amables, el transporte del hotel es muy eficiente y los señores muy amables, las camas muy cómodas y las sábanas de buena calidad, los paños y toallas de igual calidad, el restaurante tiene muy buena calidad de productos, dos estaciones para los omelets, y son muy rápidos, me sentí segura para haber ido solo mi hija de 5 años y yo, regresaremos con mi esposo, hay una pops en la esquina, vimos 10 lapas que viven sobre el hotel, el proyecto de conservación de la lapas es muy hermoso e interesante, la pasamos muy bien, la comida en los restaurantes está bien, no es ni barato ni caro, hay que tomar en cuenta que es un lugar turístico, pero vale 100% la experiencia, y es muy cerca de San José 2 horas,

Room was clean but very small and bathroom in particular was dated. AC didn’t work well at all. Balcony over looked limiting privacy. The accommodation units are a fair walk from the main facilities - some of which involve walking over stretches of unlit roads without pavements. We cut our trip short. I would not recommend this hotel.
