La Terraza Guest House is a beautiful property surrounded by beautiful foliage in a park like setting. It is in a serene setting where all you'll hear are the songs of the beautiful birds in the morning. There is a hot full breakfast ready every morning to get your day started, along with a fruit smoothie, coffee and tea. If you love seeing hummingbirds, you will get an eyeful. There is a river that runs through the property and if you love the sound of flowing water, this is for you! It is only about 10 minutes to get to downtown Grecia where there are restaurants and coffee shops, ice-cream shops, a beautiful central park, and many other types of shops, including banks. The owner was extremely hospitable, along with the host and the other employees who were friendly and warm. The owner and host will assist with setting up excursions and can make recommendations on where to go for day trips. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend this establishment.

Wow! What a lovely space! John who greeted us was so helpful and friendly. The room was great! Comfy bed, great balcony, and peaceful surroundings. Worth the visit!

Charles was very welcoming and the property is beautiful. It is it's own little oasis. Tranquil and relaxing, this was a great spot for us to stay before we had to head to the SJO airport. Plenty of space to lay out all our gear and get organized. Breakfast was spectacular!!! Would highly recommend! Thanks Charles and team, we appreciate your attentiveness and friendship!

The staff was extra friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. John was wonderful to talk to. We loved sleeping next to the roaring river in our Honeymoon cabin. I highly recommend this property.

The property is a gem with beautiful gardens and a creek running through it. It is gated so I felt very safe. It consists of a main house that serves as a central kitchen/office with a lovely patio for breakfast; as well as several other villas for guest rooms. The location is outside of town and on a hill, so not very walkable. The room was lovely—very comfortable and clean. It included nice amenities like mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer, and major streaming services, among others. Each room had its own private balcony overlooking the lovely gardens. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning. Staff was super friendly and everyone spoke English. The price. Included breakfast each morning which was delicious and included local cuisine. I highly recommend La Terrezza Guest House for a relaxing stay.

Charles and his staff are very professional. They responded to our requests in a positive manner. There were a couple small mechanical problems. But, nothing major. The location and facility are great. The value for the price is very good. If visiting Grecia, we would stay there again.

But the true magic lies in the little details – fresh flowers adorning the tables, local artwork gracing the walls, and the ever-present melody of nature outside your window. And, the food! Every morning, you're treated to a carefully curated breakfast. I was impressed that every breakfast consisted of a different, yet hearty, meal. The Chef, Ana, really did her thing to tantalize my palate! In my opinion, the heart and soul of La Terraza is its incredible family. They run the place with genuine warmth and care, making you feel like a cherished guest, not just a tourist. Their passion for their country and dedication to creating a memorable experience are infectious, leaving you with a newfound appreciation for Costa Rican hospitality. Special thanks to Charles, Paola, Ana, Brayan, Mauricio, and Edgardo! They truly made my experience incredible. It was very hard to leave!

Spacious, well maintained, super friendly staff, balcony with a gorgeous view, and an amazing breakfast! We would definitely stay there again! The kids didn't want to leave the hotel. Definitely explore the grounds over the bridge, if the gate is unlocked. Beautiful. The only feedback for improvement I have for the owner is that the toilet seat should be replaced (or maybe just tightened?) As it shifts around a lot when sitting on it. But even with that, 5 stars for sure.

La habitación es espaciosa y la vista muy bonita. Especial trato de la Srta. Paola y la persona que sirvió el desayuno, muy serviciales. La habitación limpia y cómoda con excepción de un olor en la ropa de cama.
