We had a lovely stay overall. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property is beautiful, breakfast delicious, room comfortable and clean. As you have to keep doors open for ventilation, the surrounding area sounds such as motorcycles on the road and rooster next door are more apparent. Overall recommend!

La Terraza is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It’s centrally located in the mountains of Costa Rica and there are many day trips only an hour away that can be made. The property itself is very beautiful and relaxing and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to my next trip there.

The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose Airport so not close.

Apartment came with living room kitchen bath and bedroom with a nice view of the river below. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious in the morning with a wonderful batado (mixed fruit smoothie) along with gallo pinto.

Amazing location!

I arrived late into the evening, yet the owner welcomed me in person with a big smile while assisting me with my luggage, instantly making me feel at home while away from home. The grounds are clean, beautiful, and relaxing. The breakfast offered each day was delicious and a full course meal. The staff were friendly and very helpful, from the maintenance to the ladies prepping the morning coffee, to the driver who took me to the store and waited until I finished to bring me back.It is close to the central park area with restaurants and shopping with a very short cab ride. It is definitely a priority place for me to stay when coming to Grecia, and I can highly recommend staying here!

One of the best nights of our whole vacation was staying with Charlie and Peter! They were both extremely accomodating and the breakfast was amazing! The room was spotless and it the beverage options in the fridge were wonderful and greatly appreciated! We definitely will be back to visit!

Beautiful place. Lovely gardens. Thoughtful breakfast. I was promised a cooked dinner, gave dietary restrictions, was asked if I was considering relocation, yes. No dinner, No discussions, all dark in the office! SO disappointing! I was given the one room with supplied earplugs because the bed is right on the noisy road! Only one other room occupied! I did get an e-mail and a reminder in the room suggesting $3-5 tip Per Day for the maid. I'm on vacation and did not appreciate being abandoned and the asking for my help in paying their staff!!!! The internet name on the wall did not match reality. Extra letters in the passcode were not taped off as they were not part of the code. Very disappointed !!

The owner greeted us when we arrived late and was very friendly! The property is well maintained, along a very peaceful mountain stream. Very relaxing and they served a good breakfast.!

Incredible staff. Very clean. Lovely grounds. I wish I could have stayed a few extra days and just relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quite, and beauty of the facility.
