Great hotel at a good location.

After checking us in, the staff suddenly had to check with housekeeping if the room was ready, which took 45 minutes, so obviously the room was not ready at 15:00, as stated and had to be panic cleaned. No kind of compensation was offered. They could have just given us something from the bar, but no. The rooms are quite normal for this class of hotel (poorly planned for a family with kids), but who came up with the great idea to have a glass room to the bathroom? I'd really love to not hear what's going on in there, but with an uninsulated glass door you get the full report. This is a bizarre fad that needs to be stopped! The beds are OK, but not great. The sofa beds were quite bad, and the kids complained. Quite a lot of noise comes through the ceiling and from the hallways outside. Fortunately it subsided quite early, so we could have a good nights sleep. The breakfast is meh. On the surface, it looks OK, but nothing is really well made or good. This is a bit like a cargo cult hotel. They have seen pictures of good hotels, but they have no idea how to actually make it good or pleasurable, so it all comes out a bit half baked and it gets weird when the staff has no read at all on the what individual guests actually need from them.

Reception staff was very friendly and very helpful to make a 6 person group to see the monasteries on a Saturday. Beautiful property with 2 restaurants, spa, heated pool and excellent location.

Stayed here over the Christmas week. We were very impressed with Anemi. Spacious and well equipped and quiet rooms, comfy bed, good walk in shower, proper sized towels and great to have the kitchen facilities even if we didn't use them very much. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful and we felt well looked after. The breakfast buffet was very good, plenty of choice on offer and kept well stocked. If I have a minor quibble it would be to have stronger tea bags and to offer eggs to order as scramble that's been sitting around is never nice. It was lovely to have such fresh and juicy oranges available. The Christmas Day lunch buffet was a treat, so relaxed and exactly the sort of experience we needed when trying to get away from the pressures of a traditional day at home. Anemi is well located and a good choice for an off season break.

The gentlemen checking us in didn't seem too friendly and didn't even let us know that breakfast was included in our stay. I had to go back down to ask about it later in the day. When I asked about self-parking, he just seemed bothered by my questions as well. While the hotel was nice and met our needs (and the breakfast was excellent), it was just disappointing that the service wasn't that great. All other staff we spoke with were very friendly though.

Das Hotel war wirklich toll, das Ambiente, die Lage und die Größe des Zimmers haben uns besonders gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war super und das Personal im Frühstücksbereich war sehr nett und bemüht. Auch hier stimmte das Ambiente sehr. Auch die Reinigungskraft war sehr nett und hat einen tollen Job gemacht. Parkplätze gibt es zwei und wir haben auch immer einen Parkplatz gefunden.

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Gute Lage nähe Meer mit zahlreichen Restaurants.

Very nice hotel in good, central location. Premium room was well laid out and had excellent facilities. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Fantastic staff. Lots of dining options at walking distance.

The coffee at breakfast was really poor quality. The room condition is old and tired. The receptionists were cold, nearly no emotion. No greeting to the customers and not helpful. The porter is the only personnel who is helpful and kind.

Personalen var trevlig men killen i receptionen mumlade och var lite svår att förstå, dålig engelska. Rummet var bra men det luktade unket från duschen och sängen var hård för en svensk, inga täcken utan bara lakan, dåliga kuddar. Korridors lamporna hade ett otrevligt blått ljus som gjorde att man blev yr och svårt att se. Frukosten var bra.

Spotless room

I have been in many hotels but this hotel would have to be in my top 10. Breakfast room not over crowded, cleanliness everywhere, room was a suite so we had a kitchen and a sofa. The shower had great water pressure and the water was hot. The spa and gym facilities were amazing. The indoor pool was heated. You have to pay extra for the sauna, steam and ice room unless you pay for a treatment. We did not use the roof top bar as there were a few mosquitoes around. Location to the sea (no beach/sand) was 4/5 min walk. Restaurant in the hotel and plenty close by. We hired a car and the free car park was an added bonus.
