Estuve una queja !! Pero quiero poner muy claro el trato de Yajaira la chica que trabaja en el café !! Una persona con pésimo servicio al cliente ! Arrogante ! Muy mal carate ! Cuando hable sobre el trato de ella ! Nos trato peor ! Hablé con la encargada Laura y creo que a llamarle a la atención nos trató pésimo ! Incluso otras persona alrededor daban la queja de lo mal que trataban!! No vuelvo por persona como ella !!!

Our room was spacious and comfortable! All of the villas were close to everything, it was very walkable. And there were plenty of food options to choose from each day. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I’d highly recommend this resort and we will definitely be back!

The bartenders are nonexistent. There is no nightlife and it is a great place to get away if you want no noise.

Relaxing

Resort needs alot of work when it comes to customer service. It toom us 3 hrs. To check in and we couldnt seem to get much help. You are assigned a concierge and we seen him the first 20 mins and never again. The food was not good..usually cold and there was not very many options. Resort was quiet and clean. Unfortunately, i would not visit this resort again.

We had high hopes for our vacation at ZEL Punta Cana, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the resort itself is visually stunning — the grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are modern, clean, and very well-designed — everything else fell short, especially for a place marketed as a luxury all-inclusive. The buffet food was consistently cold and unappetizing. Every meal we had there lacked flavor and freshness. It honestly felt like food was being left out too long without proper temperature control. To make matters worse, there was very little variety for children, which made mealtimes even more difficult for families. The drinks were also disappointing — most tasted extremely watered down. Whether at the pool, bar, or restaurant, the quality was not what you’d expect from a resort of this level. Our biggest issue was with the concierge service, or rather the complete lack of it. Our concierge never introduced himself, never reached out, and never followed up. As a result, we were unable to make any dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants. We were forced to leave the resort and pay for dinner 3 out of the 5 nights, costing us nearly $500 — a major inconvenience and an unexpected expense at an “all-inclusive” resort. We reported our concerns to the front desk and staff several times, but our complaints were never addressed. There was no follow-up, no solution, and no accountability. We stayed at ZEL Punta Cana for our anniversary and had a truly beautiful experience. The resort is stunning—lush, tropical, clean, and filled with charming walking paths and photo-worthy spots. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. It felt like a home away from home. The staff were warm and welcoming—special thanks to Eliezer (concierge), Rafelito, Angelisa (buffet hostess), Yajaira (the sweetest barista who made the best iced lattes), Mateo (full of beachside energy), and Rudy for amazing service. Their kindness made our trip unforgettable. The food was great overall. We loved the poolside and beach restaurants for lunch—so fresh and flavorful. The buffet offered yummy salads, pizza, and daily breakfast with omelets, fruit, and pastries. À la carte and hibachi dinners were delicious, and drinks from the bars were always well made. A few small hiccups like housekeeping delays and tech issues with QR menus didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time here. If you visit, come prepared with personal essentials just in case—pharmacy prices can be high. ZEL has such a cozy, boutique feel. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already planning our return.

Had a great time at Zel Punta Cana. Staff, food and service was excellent.

Weather was good. Hotel is a must stay. No kids. However they changing over to that. The adults was still outside.

check-in needs to improve

Pros: Beautiful property and grounds. Decent food, better than other all-inclusive resorts we have visited. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. Cons: There is a strange system in place that involves an assigned “butler” who is supposed to handle everything for you. However, we had multiple issues that were not handled properly and there is no clear chain of command to have problems addressed. Some examples include our room not being ready by 3pm check-in time, dinner reservations not confirmed, room service not delivered. Most employees seemed eager to please but better training in customer service would be helpful.

Zel is beautiful and looks just as pictured. The staff were so accommodating and kind. Food was good. Room was wonderful. Wished we could have gotten that swim up upgrade from Expedia, but they were out. Would def come again.

Our family of four stayed at this hotel in the past when it was under different ownership. We saw many advertisements and thought we would give it a try. We had reserved a two bedroom swimup suite but when we arrived they said that they couldn't give us that kind of room until the next day. I mean, if you reserve this kind of room ahead of time it should be ready upon check in. So they gave us two rooms with one bedroom swim up suite that didn't connect. It was a little tough but we made it work. The next day housekeeping didn't come to the room so we had to ask for towels and our bed wasn't made. Everytime you asked for a hand towel they never had. The service at the breakfast and lunch buffet wasn't the best, you would have to ask repeatedly for water which seemed like a "big ask" sometimes. The food is mediocre at best. We would venture out to the beach during the mornings after breakfast and there was no help setting up chairs. We've been to so many resorts and they usually have someone to assist you in getting towels, chair setup, etc. The beach had a lot of seaweed too. The Beach restaurant was also mediocre. Service not good and food not good. The nighttime restaurants were ok but they had a better crew of people working them. All in all, our family tried to make the best of it. For the amount we paid for this trip we don't feel that we got what we wanted in a vacation. It's a beautiful resort (landscape wise) but sadly we won't be back.

It’s a great place for quiet getaway. Great food, nice pool area, activities, great stuff. The beach is 10 min walking distance, cart transportation is available. Large suits with a lot of amenities.
