The very tall chap checking me in was very welcoming. I explained that I had some bad experiences in hotels lately and that Id been up for a long time. He made sure I got a super quiet room at the top of the builidng. Thank you young man

Lighting in rooms bad, not strong enough in the bathroom for putting make-up on. A mirror and electric plug needed in the bedroom area for hair driers,not just on the back of the door having to stand and dry hair (not easy). Other than those two issues we were very happy with the room and staff and enjoyed our stay. Jane and Brian.

We only stayed one night. All amazing. Great customer service and location to sightseeing. The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and it took time to drain. Cleaners started working around our room before 9 am and woke us up.

Business trip stay over four nights. First time at this hotel. In general good, clean and comfortable in a vibrant part of Birmingham. Rooms on the roadside can be noisy with road noise etc. No carpets so can hear people above walking around if in shoes. Also rooms not as well soundproofed as other hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast is okay (not great) - plenty of options nearby if you don’t want to stop in. Bar service could have been better in terms of numbers of staff serving.

Very comfortable, clean and nicely equipped room with attractive view of the canalside and Mailbox. Mugs and cups in the room with kettle and coffee machine. Comfy bed and pillow. The fridge was occasionally loud but not a major problem.
