Room was very small, and the light in the bathroom were kind of dark small but people at the hotel were very nice and distance from the station was very close. Especially I liked the breakfast. Restaurant was small, but they got a menu and served fantastic dish.

Nothing went well, You need to remove this hotel from you listing its terrible, stayed in better hostels. It NOT good for your business or guests. The pictures for the hotel are nothing like the hotel inside or out, its being used as emergency . If we hadn't arrived so late and already paid would have gone to the Hilton or Toby. or if I had a way of contacting you I would have asked for an alternative. The rooms are nothing like the pictures; the facilities are not as listed, Bathroom and decor are terrible. We got upgraded to room 110 a 4 poster bed with pillows so thin you could do without, with no drapes or curtain, just blinds that don't blackout. Service is none existant, breakfast waited over 10 minutes before I could find anyone in the kitchen, reception not manned. Breakfast deep fried even the bacon, egg swimming in oil, toast cold. This use to be a brilliant hotel, like the pictures, thought it might be a little tired but what a SHOCK. Plus Point - the heating in the room worked. There is so much wrong with this place that it need a total revamp and re-decor. Bathroom is a health hazard and looked dirty, mould, broken towel rail, no bath towels, no shampoo, no hairdryer, bath robes, no radio etc. If fact they should be sued under the Trade descriptions act and mis-selling of goods act. Thats as well as breaking health & safety rules like propping an automatic fire door open with a fire extinguisher. Please contact me to discuss, very disappointed

It would have been a good stay except for one thing...the bed mattress was terrible and I spent the night tossing and turning and only managed 3 hours sleep and I was speaking at a funeral the next day so it wasnt good. Eveything else was great so if they could just provide mattresses where the springs dont bite into your back, shoulders and thighs it would be a great place to stay

Not the best couldn't get warm radiators not on little heater not working nor was the TV and didnt smell the best. The couple in front of me were leaving as i came back with food

The less said the better. Hostel would be a compliment, no hot water, terrible smell of dampness, used as a homeless shelter through covid. Thankfully Hotels.com moved me into a nicer hotel - complimentary for the second night. Do not book here if on a business trip.

It was ok. The bar was questionable, but the bed was comfortable. Generally not too noisy we had room in our standard double to put our travel cot up.

They had double booked my room, so after 30 minutes of waiting around they checked me in and had to turn the other people away. My room looked nothing like the pictures, cracked bathroom tiles, shower that doesn’t get warm and all round dated

Staff were doing their best but the hotel need some TLC and money spent to get it up to standard. Not the worst place but the previous write ups are obvious outdated and their haydays are in the past. Without the staff Luke and Carl i would not have stayed an extra night. They were the hotel. Carls food was spot on great. Lukes attention was also great. Hotel itself not so. Motel stroke canteen but potential is there ,just needs a lot of attention.

Mattress very lumpy, TV channels didn’t work, no TV remote in the room. Great location but the hotel feels unloved…

Great location . Easy walking distance to town centre and amenities. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere, really friendly staff and great breakfast too

Easy to find near our destination staff helpful reception and bar area good rooms clean and comfy

Love the view of the park. Good size of room clean and comfortable. Comfy bed plenty of tea and coffee etc. Water nice and hot for a bath or shower but it does need a new shower head.

Floor boards up on first floor landing , rude staff wanted payment before I left the reception desk, no lift, breakfast unedible,

Let's start with, this is the modern day and the kids wanted WiFi to watch their programmes. WiFi was not working all weekend. The downstairs bar area toilets had broken cubicle door locks and one of the toilets didn't even flush. The water pressure in the shower and bath was garbage on 201. There was no plug for the bath and I had to ask for one. Great when you have a toddler who won't stay put. The food want brilliant, deep fried mushrooms, who does that? No kids menu but they did get my youngest what he wanted but no price was given. Considering they sell to attract families, there was nothing for the kids to do. The windows in the room were sealed shut so I couldn't open them for air. They've attempted to make an effort downstairs with the decor but the rooms and service need a massive overhaul. And do something for the little ones.

Nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Comfy bed and good fresh breakfast

Met with a friendly smile and intro to hotel. Directed to restaurant in hotel where we were only people in. Food was of pleasant standard and rooms were of a standard I had expected.

On arriving staff were courtious and helpful, room was immaculately clean and very decent sized, all in all enjoyed stay

I would not stay here again, some of the staff were rude and not very helpful, their door swipe system was not working so a member of staff had to escort you to the room to let you in, At breakfast you were hurried to vacate your table as there was a queue and the area was not big enough to cater for the guests. The whole place did not give off any good vibes.

Ended up in Bridle suite but it was a good job my bride wasnt with me as the room was freezing especially the bathroom. Asked for a heater but got an extra duvet. At least the bed was comfy..........
