Very helpful staff on check in , great room and facilities, mini bar a great addition , breakfast amazing and delivered to our room .

This is our fifth visit here so, obviously, we like it. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is good, the rooms warm and beds comfortable. Parking tends to be the cause of anxiety so, usually, once we have secured an onsite parking space, we don’t use the car and rely on public transport to get around. We were in room 13 this year and found storage space for clothing to be minimal. Also, I was unwell on this visit (nothing to do with the hotel) so we spent more time in the room than usual. We would have appreciated some seating in the room because of this.

We stayed for 2 nights at Cranleigh , from the minute we arrived the staff were very welcoming. The Hotel room was fantastic, had everything we needed.

I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix. Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.

Very friendly staff, comfortable, clean room and very convenience place within walking distance to restaurants and the lake. However, there are two things that need to improve 1) should have allocated parking for each room 2) we stayed in room #5 which is above the breakfast area the smell of burning toasts and burning smoke got into the room in the morning, should have better extractor fan in the kitchen area.

Great hotel with beautiful food. Very clean and staff were brilliant. Perfectly situated next to centre of town and close to lake. Only downsides were having to pay for parking because we booked away from their own site and room has no air con, just a very loud fan you can’t sleep with on. Also, very loud creaking of floor boards above our room every time someone moved.

Quiet property, attentive staff, within 3 min walk to the centre of Bowness. A great 2 night stay.

Lovely stay and wonderful staff.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the standard rooms (all the other rooms were fully booked), the room was great & bed super comfortable. We ate breakfast in the hotel everyday which was delicious & there was a fantastic choice of different dishes. The staff were all super friendly & helpful & the hotel is located near to all the restaurants, bars & shops in the area. I would love to return one day & try one of the other rooms

Hotel is nice however we’ve stayed in far nicer hotels for the price , it’s way overpriced for a very basic room, you can here the the people in the room next door very clear and the room above (little to no soundproofing) , tv in the bathroom if your into that sort of thing , tried it but you couldn’t even view a picture as so faint , wouldn’t go back

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the rooms are stunning, comfy beds, extremely clean too! The toiletries in the room were so nice and such a lovely touch, we were even given some brownie when leaving the try! Breakfast was beautiful, we would defo stay again :)
