Little issue with getting wrong room when we got there was fixed quickly. Be warned there is no lift and quite a bit of stairs, was fine for us. Breakfast buffet was really good with all the parts of an English breakfast. We walked to downtown Carlisle easily. Excellent Sticky Toffee Pudding in hotel restaurant.

Friendly, helpful service. I called ahead to arrange a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the team had already arranged for complimentary chocolates and arranged the towels.
Good breakfast buffet, regularly replenished and quality bacon and sausages.

Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice on the buffet, plus homemade bread, which was a welcome bonus.
Only negative was lukewarm water in the shower, it was alright from the basin tap, so maybe a faulty shower mixer.

Everything about the hotel was of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful the breakfast was good with a nice variety of food the room was clean and tidy as was the rest of the hotel. Overall I consider it was very good value for money and would not hesitate to stay again on my next visit to Carlisle.

I was staying in the hotel whilst my dad was in a nearby hospital having experienced a stroke. The staff went above and beyond and were very flexible about extending my stay and letting me work in the function room etc. The local area is also very nice especially the fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant and pub across the road.

Was welcomed into the hotel after a long wet drive to the hotel from Liverpool, restaurant looked amazing, but already ate, Amazing breakfast in the morning before the next trip back to Northern Ireland. Will be back
