The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...

Booked this last minute and at the very reasonable price I did not have high expectations. Colour me surprised. What a charming place. Lovely staff. Nice food. Nice clean room at good price. Will definitely use again

Clean room, restaurant, breakfast was superb, slippers and robes in bedroom, water, tea coffee facilities a nice touch and of course all the staff who were all 5⭐️ especially the ladies at breakfast. Outstanding all round.

Room was lovely and newly renovated. The staff were brilliant. Evening meal was excellent. Lots of choice at breakfast.

Great vslue place with a lovely restaurant and breakfast

Fantastic hotel, very centrally located within walking distance to the shops and parks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the suite which is very comfortable and clean. The shower is amazing and there is a tv with Netflix. Also the breakfast is very good with hot and cold food available. We loved the fact that there was a car park included which is brilliant if you are driving. We definitely would recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Carlisle or other surrounding areas.

Massive room size for standard double and warm and comfortable, ideal location 10 minutes walk from town centre lovely breakfast

The hotel itself is very nice and the bar and restaurant was great. The room was lovely, plenty of space and well furnished. The reason I gave this an average score was because I had a really poor sleep due to the noise from the road. I thought the windows were open but they weren’t, they were just old and didn’t close fully. There was also a cold draft blowing into the room. Being next to a very busy road, new windows must be a priority.

Clean, comfortable room, very good value for money, food was scrummy, both tea and breakfast……staff were very attentive, just could have done with a bath n plugs near bed….. I’ll ask about a bath if we stay again thanks

This was my second stay at this hotel. Modern clean rooms, great buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The location is very convenient, good parking and easy to walk into the centre of Carlisle without all the issues of parking in the town centre. Great location for walking in Rickerby & Bitts Park. This is now my 'go-to' hotel for staying in Carlisle.

Friendly, helpful service. I called ahead to arrange a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the team had already arranged for complimentary chocolates and arranged the towels. Good breakfast buffet, regularly replenished and quality bacon and sausages.
