Great hotel! Modern and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. On the first night of our stay, the air conditioning in our room was not working. After communication with the reception staff at 2am, he checked us into another room immediately. Really appreciate his efficiency as it was already very late. Had a comfortable stay!

Fantastic hotel. When we checked in and we mentioned it was my wife’s birthday they upgraded us to a suite, which was amazing!! One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. All staff were incredibly friendly, I’ll definitely be staying here again

We had a fantastic stay at Dakota Manchester. Staff at reception were welcoming and efficient. We chose to upgrade and so we had a canal side view and a separate bath and shower. The room is so carefully appointed with lovely touches like wool blankets/ throws , led magnified mirror for make up, 2 full length mirrors.
Its very conveniently near the train station but quiet enough. The bar was buzzing both times we visited.

Having stayed here several times now and noticed a steep decline in the place. Last time I stayed there, I was stuck with an overflowing shower which wouldn’t drain. Called management who said nothing was wrong with the shower - the next morning the whole bathroom was flooded.
This time around, the shower fixtures were broken and falling off as I showered. The hallway stunk of cannabis and isn’t what I expected from a hotel where I paid over £250 for a night.
Probably won’t be staying here again.
