쇼핑센터가 도보거리, 주요 관광지와는 조금 거리가 있고, 호텔주변 분위기는 전반적으로 보통. 와인 서비스를 받긴 했는데, 같이 먹을 과일이나 안주도 없이 와인한 병만 달랑 맨손으로 들고오는 황당함. 직원들의 응대는 훌륭함.

Property was very nice, clean and hospitable staff with good facilities. Only minor issue - told by reception the breakfast (additional fee paid in booking) finished at 10.30am. We arrived at 10.05am to be refused breakfast as weekday breakfast finished at 10am. Refund or alternative was not offered. Otherwise great stay lovely hotel and rooms.

Staff were very helpful and friendly when asking questions. Showed a genuine interest in helping out and providing a great service. The hotel lobby is very grand as well as the room corridors being very well kept. However the room is very dated and quite dirty with stains all over the walls and carpets. Bathroom is very nice and big enough for 2 people. The location is very good as it is close to shops and transport links, however the area features a lot of noise at late hours which can make you feel slightly on edge if travelling back from the city centre late.

Prima hotel, vriendelijk personeel. Kregen een upgrade aangeboden voor 65 GBP per nacht naar een suite. Hier hebben wij gebruik van gemaakt, echter bleek toen we de kamer.. of bunker binnen kwamen, dat dit niet op de afbeeldingen en tekst stond. Het was een raamloze suite, nouja raamloos, er zaten 2 raampjes op vloerhoogte van 40x50cm. Na dit aangegeven te hebben, hebben ze een kamer voor de aansluitende nachten geblocked. Het hotel die avond zat vol. De andere kamer was als op de foto’s, dus prima. Alleen de vloerbedekking in beide kamers had vieze vlekken. Verder alles oke ook qua ontbijt.

I’ve stayed here for 4-5 years, and it was amazing, now it’s in the opposite end of the spectrum. Tired, in desperate need of a renovation. The majority of staff are rude and unhelpful. I will not be booking this hotel again, after many years of being a loyal customer, the service I have received and the rooms that have broken/damaged curtains and blinds, shoddy furniture, and shower/bathrooms that have a vile pungent smell, not what you would expect from a 4-5 star hotel.

I had booked a suite which was meant to include a double bed and a sofa bed No sofa bed was available so my niece and i had to share the double bed which we had not wanted to do. There was a defective kettle with a faulty spout so boiling water spouted out and could have caused an accident. There was a coffee machine but not any pods. The cleaners had missed a dirty glass behind a chair. There were pins in the sofa qhich could have caused an accident. Some of the breakfast items were cold.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in! The first room the shower drain had been removed and shower had mold in the drain and on the walls. Then “upgraded” to a “better” room. The shower drain was very, very slow and needed repair. Bath room flooded when shower door was opened. Complained to the front desk two days in a row, was told somebody would be up to repair, no one ever came up to repair. Then we did not have wash cloths in the bathroom, when inquired to get them, was told they don’t have wash cloths. Was told to use towels to wash face. Grout missing in tile floor. Room was well worn, and depart needs updating. When selecting this hotel it was rated 4 stars, should be rated minus 5 stars. This hotel should refund my money! Do not recommend this hotel to anybody!

This was the third year in a row that we had stayed at the Dorsett and we noticed that the condition of the hotel is worsening every year. We had problems with the aircon last year and had to move once. However this yearvwe moved three times! The revolving door at the entrance has been undergoing maintenance since last July? The staff are very helpful/patient considering the amount of complaints they were receiving. Overall our stay was ok but we are looking at other options for next year as it’s obvious the aircon situation will not be resolved. We were charged a £25 a night depisit (£100 in total) which we were told eould be refunded at check out, after three weeks we have still not received it.
