We really enjoyed our stay. Relaxing and quiet, a comfortable room with a fantastic shower, lovely and unhurried breakfast. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place in an amazing location

Upon arrival, Kevin was friendly and attentive. Rooms were airy and bright, bed was very comfotable, great sleep. Breakfast was well cooked and very tasty with good produce. Plenty of choice. Compliments to the chef!! Would definately stay here again.

We spent 5 fantastic nights at the Exmoor manor hotel home from home Kevin & Jan make you so welcome like family Their is nothing they won’t do for you Fantastic fabulous wonderful host this hotel is a little gem and a great place for a base to visit Devon with a dog. We thoroughly enjoyed it and our dog was made so welcome and large garden for her. We had room no 2 with patio doors leading onto the grass area Excellent breakfast so much choice Keep doing what you both do Kevin & Jan thank you so much Best wishes Mark Mandy & Betsy woof woof xx

I liked 1) the location, quiet but easy to get to 2) the layout and spaciousness of the house 3) the ease of parking

The location is quiet and out of the way. Service was good. My only comment would be the beds are too soft.

Great location set on a beautiful hilltop and run by a lovely couple.

The hosts Jan and Kevin are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast cooked by Kevin is great quality and so plentiful it keeps you full all day. Check the walls for Jan’s art work. Highly recommend a stay.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating for our stay. Choice for breakfast was ample and freshly cooked to order. Although a way from the town the host has a license for drinks within the hotel. A great base to get out walking from but quiet and peaceful to relax afterwards.

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming. The linen was spotless and toiletries well stocked. The only downfall was that all the windows were blown so you couldn't see out clearly

A lovely place to stay with ambience in an old building, lovingly furnished rooms, friendly hosts. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, great scenery. The rooms, however, need to be improved a bit in order to make them really comfortable for guests. For example, there are not many power sockets, and there are none in the bathroom. This makes blow-drying or shaving difficult. But I was particularly disappointed with the breakfast. They offer a delicious full English breakfast. If someone likes this for every day he will definitely be happy with. However, other options are poor. If you like something a little healthier, you're out of luck. Yes, there is a corner with yoghurt and cereals, but they are all ready-made products (fruit yoghurt with sugar and coloring, there was no natural plain yoghurt available). The cereals are limited to small pre-packaged bags with various sugared and colored varieties. There was no pure oat flakes or other grains, no nuts, so you could have put together a healthy muesli yourself. In the rooms, more attention should be paid to the cobwebs in the corners and on the ceilings when cleaning. I'm used to more and better accommodations in comparable places, especially with regarding the breakfast.

Great hotel with adjoining pub where we had dinner. All the people we dealt with were very friendly. Very quiet with large free car park.

Room 6.good except for access to wash hand basin, small and not easy to do your morning wash and shave.I ordered a ribeye stake for my evening meal it was tough as old boots.I was offered a replacement, but as I had eaten most of the side items I declined.the offer. I doubt That it was a ribeye steak, quarter of an inch thick with no Marbling and no fat at all. Beware if you have any mobility problems there are lots of stairs to room 6

Had a wonderful stay at the Manor House we stayed in room 2 which was perfect as we had our little dog with us. The hosts were lovely made us very welcome we ate at the pub and the food was delicious. Our room was bright and airy with double doors into the garden it had plenty of tea and coffee which was great. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.
