The hotel is gorgeous exterior & location is incredible - I walked almost everywhere, via the Park. Staff were good, breakfast good. Inside is dated. I managed to get a room street facing with large window, small but adequate space, bed was very comfy. Overall it served my needs as I was only there to sleep. If you prefer a hotel with more amenities & bigger room size it may not be the hotel for you. Most of the negative comments are likely with the interior or lower level rooms, and base price rooms which are tiny. I would stay again.

Only issue here was a smell of cigarette smoke drifting into the room from somewhere. This is supposed to be a non-smoking establishment so something needs to be done to make sure that is actually the case.

Very good property is a terrific location!

Bra läge och trevlig lobby. Mitt rum 808 var högst upp. Jag hade bokat ett dubbelrum. Rummet var väldigt litet och trångt. Sängen var bra för en person men hade varit trång för två. Vissa detaljer i rummet var väldigt slitna och fönstret behöver bytas då det var ruttet men det mesta funkade bra. Plus för badkar, AC, vatten och kex.

The reception area and bar area are absolutely beautiful. The room we had was v small and tired. We opened the door to be met by a wardrobe we needed to almost squeeze past and the headboard on the bed had huge patches of leather that had worn away. Broken air conditioning, lied to about this being fixed, windows sealed shut and no fan provided as promised (all during the heat wave).

Vi bodde på et superior dobbeltrom. Det var et lite rom med 120cm seng. Helt ok for oss, men nok ikke for alle. Vi fikk først et mindre rom uten vindu, men betjeningen var hjelpsomme og vi fikk endret rom med en gang vi sa fra. Alt i alt et hyggelig opphold.

If you’re looking for a hotel with air conditioning, don’t book this one. Upon checking in to the hotel in the middle of a summer heat wave, I was looking forward to relaxing in a cool room. When I got into the room, the wall AC controller said it was already on and set to 19 C. After about an hour, the room seemed to be getting warmer and there were no fans and I could not open the window. Hotel staff would not answer questions about why the AC was not working. I was able to call customer service to get rebooked at a neighboring hotel with the proper amenities. I would never book this hotel again and could not recommend it to anyone.

The first time that I have stayed at this hotel but definitely not the last. It’s a beautifully elegant hotel situated a very short walk from Hyde Park and Queensway tube station. The rooms are a little bit tired but spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent with a hot and cold buffet. The staff that I dealt with were all very nice and friendly too.

Definitely not worth the money. Rooms were very small a "deluxe double" is similar size to what you would get at an ibis budget hotel. Air conditioning didn't work properly probably due to the dust built up in them. The bathroom was tiny and when showering the floor becomes a swimming pool as there is a tiny glass shower curtain that doesn't prevent the water going over the floor. Carpets around the place could really do with being updated as they are quite worn in places. Bar closes at 11pm sharp so if you are planning on a drink to relax after getting back from a busy day just be aware you won't get one here after 11pm so bring some with you for your room. Breakfast was good it had everything you needed and what you expect. Location was perfect whether you want to walk or get the tube everything is easily accessible. Overall for the price this hotel charge don't expect much and don't let the photos online fool you there is much better options for the same price or probably even cheaper. Would not recommend and would not return. I don't usually leave reviews as I believe a hotel is just somewhere to put your head down but when you pay a bit more you should expect a bit more than what you get here.

Beautiful hotel, handy location near park and three tube stations, decent breakfast buffet, our room was pretty squished and could’ve done with updating but a good stay overall

Air con missing but room was cool anyway, the staff were amazing and any issue fixed. The breakfast was the best I have had/seen in 40yrs of travel, will use this hotel again without hesitation

Our room was very clean, and the staff were very helpful and polite. The only thing was that there was no air-conditioning in the dining room during breakfast and due to the fact that temperatures were very high in London the week we went it was very uncomfortable For an establishment such as a hotel, I don’t understand why there was no air conditioning in the dining room and the rest of the hotel, besides the rooms.

Lovely place

Extremely beautiful wood detailing with a british feel. Very convenient location across from Hyde Park. Staff gave me my room early which was appreciated after a long flight.

Bedroom for one was small, but definitely perfect for a solo traveller! The staff was wonderfully kind, and didn't mind why I asked them to take photos of me in their lobby or were quick to call me to ensure I knew how to navigate the lights and switches. Because my room was located at the end of a corridor, I did have to cross two steps with my luggage which wasn't difficult but potentially could be for someone who needs flat ground. Just a warning! As an American, I was not prepared for the UK heat but thankfully after a couple of minutes of turning on the AC unit, I'd be thankful for the quick cool down in the room. There was a questionable stain on the curtain and what seems like stained makeup on the bedsheet but that did not bother me as the comforter was clean. This may bother some, but I wasn't finnicky about it. Everything else was spotless. I loved the location too, right by Hyde park and Kensington palace which was gorgeous. Very conveniently located next to Bayswater & Queensway station and a lovely street of great storefronts and restaurants for quick bites, coffee, McDonald's or even a drink!
