Staff were super nice, gardens were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Parking available. Nice location close to Falmouth, but very rural feel. Seaview is very limited in general from this property but lovely gardens make up for this.
My father is in his 80s and managed ok, but to say this property is likely not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs and it's all built into a hillside.
Beds in both rooms my family used could use an update- pretty uncomfortable and uneven mattresses with noticeable indents where people tend to generally sleep. In morning when going to breakfast we had to dodge piles of dirty linen and supplies all along the narrow hallway where cleaning staff had stripped beds already. Seemed an odd system for a 4 star hotel.
Despite these last comments still a very pleasant stay!

Loved the gardens and direct access to private beach. Dog friendly terrace garden rooms were of a standard rating in.my opinion. No soap replenished in dispensers for 2 days. Stain on bedding sheet. Dog pee stains visible in some public carpeted areas. Unmanned reception, need to ring a bell. The 'bridge dog friendly area' for meals is depressing and isolated, no bell in this area to indicate you need a service i.e. breakast. No background music. Lacking atmosphere. Tables are coffee tables, far too low to eat a meal off. Had to put my plates on lap! However breakfast can be taken in beautiful gardens on a fine weather day for dog owners; much more pleasant. Drinks expensive, x2 double G&Ts £28! My complaint with hotel is as a lone female traveller with dog, my bedroom door had been left wide open by housekeeping manager the one day and this concerned me from a safety and security point, also outside door to accomodation block pinned open despite being a security door on card swipe access. I have logged a formal complaint re this with hotel and expedia, waiting for a reply!

Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it!
Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out but we were gifted a small sample instead which was super nice.
The restaurant is lovely, get to breakfast early to snag a window table. The food was excellent.
Our room was nice and very clean and we had a good nights sleep. The walls were not as thin as many UK seaside hotels which was good.
Overall a lovely stay, we would definitely come back and highly recommend

Großes sauberes Zimmer in einer herrlichen Gartenumgebung. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht.
Schön wäre es, wenn in der Nacht die Gartenbeleuchtung ausgeschaletet würde.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were luckily upgraded to a suite which had a lovely balcony overlooking the breathtaking gardens and private beach. Blankets were provided. Huge, comfortable double bed. Lovely toiletries. Had and excellent evening meal and breakfast. Friendly staff. Partner had a massage in the spa which added to his relaxing experience. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful site with terrible service.
The staff that we got to talk to were really nice, but most of the time impossible to find. No housekeeping during our stay and if we needed anything there was no way to reach anyone. The pipes in my room creaked the whole night and no one did anything to fix it or even acknowledge the issue, even after I raised it repeatedly.
The place is breathtaking, but it feels like the management doesn't care about the guests.
