Very accompanying environment for people who are not from the area, I felt instantly comfortable and the buildings were relatively easy to navigate. Very happy with the services provided and the price was a bargain for what we ended up getting. Would definitely recommend.

Had a problem with our first room but we were promptly given another with a far superior room. All staff very friendly and helpful.

The Manor House Hotel is a stunning historical property with beautifully appointed features. The dining room is very stylish and beautifully decorated. The food is outstanding! We also enjoyed the delicious full breakfast included in our rate. Chloe at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Room had an adjoining room door that wasnot sound proofed. So second night was not good and woken at 615am by very noisy neighbour. Door needs to be sound proof. As this is sold as their superior room.Damed poor show. We did get discounted pool use.

Great all round was perfect and will be back again soon food was unreal the 2 ladies were lovely well friendly veey welcoming even near closing time and still tpok me and my partner in for a 3 course meal it was perfect it was... other staff at reception and bar were very polite and reassuring too which was lovely too was perfect in all areas thanks guys

The property room i had was dated he said it needed a refurbish. Room was cold. Couldnt work shower and curtains didnt draw properly and was ground floor.

Wonderful stay in the Manor House Hotel. Initial warm friendly welcome. Room clean spacious and very comfortable Evening meal was superb. Breakfast offered a fabulous selection. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

The. Hotel is nice but the design of the rooms is a bit hit and miss. The bed canopy meant you couldn’t easily use the bedside table, there were no drawers but 2 wardrobes and the mirror in the bathroom was positioned so you couldn’t really see close up. The work on the hall meant there was dust and our room wasn’t cleaned on one of the two days. So a bit mixed

We stayed here for 2 nights to see Kynren and Bishop Auckland.
Our room was very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and fab bathroom. Very happy.
Staff were very friendly and next time we visit we will use the additional cost spa facilities.
Breakfast was delicious!

We enjoyed our stay at manor house. Made the most of the pool, sauna and steam room facilities. The staff were friendly and the area was nice and quiet. The only complaint we would have is that the vegan options (we were really grateful that there were some) in terms of the main course felt over priced for what they were. The chocolate mousse pudding was delicious though!

Travelled for work as a solo female. Stayed in the courtyard rooms, very clean room and comfortable bed. Staff are wonderful and food is delicious. Paid extra £20 for the spa and well worth it.

Have stayed the last couple of weeks and cant fault the place at all, very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms - stayed in the cottage room last week and Deluxe room this week, cottage ones are fine and have everything you need.. Deluxe are nuch bigger with seperate seating area etc, well worth the extra if you want a treat...
