머큐어 런던 블룸즈버리 호텔

대부분 유럽 지역 호텔이 그렇듯 크기는 크지 않지만, 깨끗하고 조용해 좋았습니다. 특히 주변 관광지 접근성이 매우 좋았고, 주변 지하철 역, 버스정류장이 매우 가까워서 이동하기 좋습니다. 주변에 한식, 중식, 이태리음식, 일본식 등 식당도 많아 전반적으로 매우 만족스러운 호텔이었습니다.

겉으로 보는것 보다 안에 공간이 조금 더 넓어요. 방은 무난 한데 옆 건물에 가려서 풍경 보기 어려운 방이 많은 것 같습니다. 복도는 넓지는 않은데 복도 소음은 약간 넘어오지만 방에서 나는 소리가 넘어가지는 않습니다. 샤워용 수건이나 샴푸 등을 사용하면 새것으로 미리 가져다 주셔서 좋았습니다. 방에 슬리퍼가 없는 점은 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 5분 거리 내에 테스코도 있고 지하철 역도 2곳 있어서 움직이기 편합니다. 다른 것보다 직원분이 매우 친절해서 좋았습니다.

사진으로 보는 위치는 절대 아니에요. 사진으로 보면 코너에 위치해 있는 것 같은데 저건 다른 호텔 사진이구요. 실제 위치는 저 곳 아닙니다. 그래서 좀 헷갈렸네요. 그리고 방에 갔는데 사진이랑 너무 달랐고, 트윈침대로 예약했는데 트윈으로 주긴 했네요. 그리고 욕실문이 고장이 난 건지 자꾸 잠겨서 애먹었네요. 게다가 에어컨도 제대로 안돌아가서 9월에 여행가서 더웠는데 미니선풍기 주더라구요.... 다음엔 절대 안 묵을 것 같아요.

방이 작아서 답답함을 느꼈다. 옆방 객실에 어린아이가 우는 소리가 들리고 문을 여닫는 소리가 바로바로들려 방음 문제가 좋지않았다.하지만 직원들은 전체적으로 친절하며 객실은 깨끗하고 위치가 좋아 왠만한곳은 걸어 다닐수 있어 좋았다.

Staff friendly, room not good for a 4star hotel. The blind had some tears in it and the wall was messy looking. It was as if someone had painted the wall using different shades of paint. The room was quite small. Bathroom and bath were nice. I have stayed in Travelodge previously in London and the beds and rooms are bigger and more comfortable for a quarter of the price.

Staff lied about room size saying we were in standard when we were in small but had booked standard and were condescending when talking to us, no blackout blinds and work area/desk as detailed in description. Shower was broken they fixed it and it broke again. Decaff coffee not refilled in room when used. Shower was broken. Noisy pub next door and staff allowed smokers to stand on terrace at entrance meaning the whole if reception stunk of stale smoke every time we walked in. Avoid at all costs

The staff were really great, helpful and considerate. The shower head was great and the room was clean. But there were some issues: 1) The restaurant was closed, we weren't told about this in advance or at check in only when we asked about eating there. They still had posters advertising the menu. 2)The room sizes are disproportionate to other Mercures. A superior King room in Bristol is double the size that the one in London. 3)There is clear signs of wear in the rooms. The paint was chipped, especially on the bathroom door where you can see it pealing. The shower curtain had black mould starting. The lift broke down briefly. The mattress was two pushed together. 4)casting to the TV doesnt work as the signal connection doesnt have internet.

Really like the staff and great breakfast. A little tight in the bathroom but no big deal!

The reception staff were friendly and approachable. The hotel and room were clean and well maintained. Did not eat at the restaurant as it never seemed to be open and reception staff did not know its opening times.

Booked last minute due to cancellation. Comfortable bed and quiet room on level 5 at the back. Very convenient location. Very friendly service from Begum at the front desk on check in.
