Friendly and helpful staff. Good location with lovely views. The restaurant menu was excellent. I wish I could’ve stayed more nights to try more meals from the menu.

Good night's stay, staff excellent, food very good, bedroom clean and tidy.however toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly. Albeit an old building perhaps a freshen up is needed.

A lovely hotel that is friendly, welcoming, inviting and clean. The bedroom and facilities were spacious and relaxing. We enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. The views are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful

Really lovely hotel in beautiful scenery. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the restaurant is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It was just a stop on the way somewhere else for us but we both wished we had another night. I would definitely stay here again.

The welcome was somewhat confusing, after waiting a while we were greeted by a man "what are you here for" ... strange thing to say when you turn up to a hotel. so basically not the friendly response you would imagine. the hotel was old and a little run down, some areas have started to be renovated. My room was unfort The food was amazing and definitely the highlight of the stay.

Dated, but with enough charm to make this aspect fade into insignificance. Great area too - plenty of on-site parking, peaceful, and with fantastic views from the dining area.

Great stay but the bathroom light was not working properly.

the food was amazing and everything was up to standard. the rooms were lovely, big and clean. the only issues i had was the bed was not the most comfortable, me and my partner both struggled to sleep. we were also not given any big towels in the room for showers and on the first day we only got 1 big towel

The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our first room (7) was very noisy because of loose flooring above. This needs to be put right. However we were moved to the first floor and there were no more problems.

All round very pleasant. Mattress a little firm. A little pricy.

Dinner was amazing, best hotel food we’ve had. Warm and friendly staff with a nice spacious and clean room. Beautiful view just topped off the stay. Would definitely stay again :)

The room was big, light and airy. Very clean. Maybe the bathroom could do with a little makeover. However, the staff were utterly lovely. They were friendly and happy and made me feel most welcome in the most relaxed way. I would happily return here.

Set in beautiful countryside this lovely old english building is perfect for a relaxing night away or even just somewhere to stay whilst visiting Hereford like i did. Good food and good amenities. Staff are helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient.

The room was lovely and big, bathroom very clean and staff all friendly. About a half an hour bus from Hereford town. There was an issue with the wifi in the room though, so had to use my data to work remotely.

Lovely room but if you’re planning on staying, choose an upstairs room. We were in the Garden Suite on the ground floor and we were kept awake by the couple in the room above who kept walking back and forth constantly. This woke us up at 7am every morning. The breakfast certainly isn’t worth the £12.50 charged. Food tasted like it had all been microwaved or kept warm. Coffee was really bitter. The hotel reception and restaurant really needs a facelift to keep up with some of the refurbished rooms.
