Our first family trip inside of UK due to our children having a mid-term break. The staff are very friendly and it's very comfortable as a 4-star hotel. When we arrived at the hotel and we want to use a swimming pool but unfortunately, they are cleaning the pool so we can't use it for first day. Many families are there for their holiday so they should not clean during the weekend. The weather was so terrible with raining and windy so we could not go for the trip. Please keep it your mind that they don't have a hairdryer and no complimentary water and fruit and no minibar. So I suggest you prepare those I mentioned above. The menu for the breakfast buffet was just an ordinary English style that you can find anywhere in a three-star hotel.

Hotel was great and staff were great. Only thing I disliked was the gym - the machines are extremely old and rusting.

Everything about the place was good, the staff, the bar clean room, I didn’t eat breakfast cause I never woke up in time for breakfast but their menu for lunch and dinner was good

The food is ok, service a bit slow, especially when busy. The bed is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, like sleeping on the floor it’s that hard. There were two beds in my room, both the same.

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean the gentleman who checked us in was a little unwelcoming and frosty. Car parking you had to pay for, which Marriott could have covered the cost.

There was no spa facilities. Cleanliness was brilliant, so was the location, although the bed was very hard. Like laying on a board.

Our rooms on 7th floor were huge and clean. The staff were very friendly and professional. The bar area is very pleasant. The only real criticism was the bed, which was uncomfortable and extremely hard. Apparently the beds are fairly new! We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott but in all honesty I wouldn’t return because of the uncomfortable bed which has caused me considerable pain.

We were in the suite. Delightful room with loads of space. The breakfast manageress showed great concern when she heard I was unwell.
