Lovely stay with nice views. Staff really friendly and cannot do enough to help. Will definitely be returning

My room was in the annex and it was definitely due a refurbishment. However, it wasn’t just how dated it was, it was how unclean it was. Woodlice crawling on the carpet, carpet was filthy, mould in the bathroom around the shower and the shower head was thick with black mould. I went to let them know on checking out, but no one was there. Breakfast served from 7.45am onwards which is no good for many people who have to be on the road before then!

The staff were very helpful and friendly upon arrival. The hotel was very nicely decorated with a lovely seaside vibe to it. Ample car parking.Lovely position on the corner with the beach just a stones throw away

Nice clean room Just a couple of things that needed attention to detail but were rectified once asked and no trouble to do so from the staff. Breakfast was continental and had enough for my needs and got food was available at a extra cost if needed.

Lovely hotel, beautiful inside. staff were really helpful and friendly. Beautiful location. The only things that let it down, was the annexe we stayed in, could of done with a bit of updating and an iron. But other than that i would advise staying in one of the rooms inside the hotel. We had a nice relaxing stay

We have met various staff over the last 5 weeks and everyone has been friendly & helpful especially in the restaurant. We booked in for 2 nights over bank holiday .Room was pleasant no view and the one complaint to reception was about the pillows on the bed. Breakfast was very good and plentiful and the hotel is situated on the main beach road of Sand bay but no traffic noise. We will use the restaurant frequently over the summer as we now have our caravan on a nearby site but would book the hotel again if needed.Afternoon is especially good with coffee & fresh victoria sponge cake.

The location was nice. We had a sea view room. The problem is that the room also faced the road and we could hear cars all night. And, the mattress was the worst I have ever come across in a hotel. It would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The bathroom had heated floors however, which was very nice.

We didn’t have breakfast

Although booked into the hotel, we were in this small bungalow across the carpark with 3 rooms in it. It felt very tired looking. The shower didn’t work, no water pressure, the sink didn’t drain and the bed had to be remade as the quilt wasn’t it in properly. There was etching on the back of the bathroom door that said they wouldn’t stay there again as it was a s**thole. Fridge was on the floor with tea and coffee items on top and the boiler cupboard wouldn’t stay shut. Cars playing music in the car park at midnight and the boiler fired up randomly in the night which was loud. Overall, it did the job as it was somewhere to stay and seemed clean. But wouldn’t stay again, and definitely wouldn’t recommend the rooms in the “bungalow” (we were not aware where we would be staying, didn’t say on the booking).

Lovely sea view room , 2 single beds put together , not very comfortable, room was clean and had free toiletries , shower was small and had to take shower head off rail to get water pressure through, staff were friendly and rock salt bar served a good continental breakfast in the price and good English breakfast served for extra cost, dogs were allowed in the hotel and the sandy breach is only yards from across the road. We decided to stop for Sunday lunch big mistake , roast potatoes were rock hard but under cooked , vegetables were extras over £5 and so was cauliflower cheese, too much going on as we’re covered in pepper and ruined the over all taste, roast beef was lovely but cold and carrot purie on plate does nothing but looks a mess , manageress was told about the problem but wasn’t very helpful and quite rude and for 2 Sunday lunches and 1 pint of carling and glass of coke , £61 was poor quality , go up the road to chip shop instead great quality fish and chips

Beautiful boutique hotel in gorgeous location. Friendly staff, lovely decor, good Continental breakfast included.

Room dated

Beautiful, a real gem of a hotel / restaurant.. The room was immaculate and it felt like it was “brand new”. Plus, the receptionists, restaurant staff and cleaners were lovely and so accommodating… 11 out of 10!! It’s located a 10 second walk from the beach and m parking is free… I’ll be rebooking within the next couple of weeks!!

We had a great stay - the hotel staff were amazing and allowed us to host the most poignant wake. Beautiful location right on the beach.

The room was nice ,tv could do with updating and for some reason the subtitles were on and as it was not original remote I couldn't turn them off .other than that it was a very pleasant stay .
