Great stay! Super friendly staff, very good breakfast, lovely lounge and room.

Could benefit from a full length mirror in the room but otherwise a fabulous place, clean, amazing breakfast and friendly staff.

The breakfast choice was excellent - fresh fruit, wide range of cereals, different combinations of cooked breakfast, good coffee. Staff efficient and helpful. Tea and coffee facilities very good. We were on the top floor so room(Siskin) had coombed ceiling. There was a beam protruding over the double bed and it was difficult not to hit your head on it particularly if you are prone to getting up at night. Also very easy to stub your toe on foot of the bed as ace between it and wall was narrow. Very close to the town centre, restaurants and bus station. Overall a good place to stay.

A traditional Cumbrian house now guest house. Lovely building situated very close to Keswick centre less than 10 minutes walk. Lovely little room, the Myrtle. Very nice breakfast which is cooked to order. Specials options which are a welcome change from the traditional. Nice lounge with TV to relax. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pack lunches can be ordered and there are drinks and snacks available to be purchased throughout your stay. Car parking is on street and busy if lucky you may get some space near by to park on your arrival.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was good, with enough options to start the day well. The location was also very convenient, close to key places and with ample transport links nearby, making it easy to get around.

A gorgeous Lakeland property with so much charm and character. Our room was very cosy and with a wonderful Mountain View. The guest lounge was a nice space to relax, as was the room. Breakfast was simply outstanding, the awards are well deserved! The hosts are very welcoming and made us feel very at home. A lovely break.

The breakfast was wonderful. The room was very, very small and several surfaces were not very clean. There was black mold around the base of the shower door. We had some helpful and some negative experiences with staff. We had to park on the street 3-4 blocks away from the property.

I have stayed in many B&B’s in Keswick and having just spent two nights at The Edwardene for the first time, this is now my favourite. We stayed in a twin room called ‘The Osprey’ and needed a very late check in, which was no hassle to the owners who made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean, bright, well furnished and had a lovely view of the mountains. The toiletries provided are locally made and were top quality. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate were also provided with delicious Border Biscuits. I had Eggs Royale for breakfast and it was the best one I have ever had. I can also highly recommend the full English. The whole property from the outside to inside is exceptionally kept. It is just a 5 minute walk into the centre so is also a great place to stay location wise. Was able to easily park on a near by street. The whole experience was excellent value for money. Do not hesitate to book this charming bed and breakfast which is run by exceptional hosts. We will most definitely be back!

Really impressed with our stay. Lovely old hotel with a sort of faded grandeur. In the best possible way. Huge bed, great bathroom, excellent breakfast with daily specials as well as the usual suspects. Free parking on the road out front (if you can find a space). All in all a thoroughly enjoyable visit...

The Edwardene was a wonderful guest house. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The location was convenient for access to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was incredible!
