Staff were great and attentive. Particularly those serving at breakfast. Room was super cosy and cute. Only issue was that the smell of drainage hit us as soon as we opened our hotel room door - we were room 3. Fantastic stay otherwise and would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 2nights, I originally booked a cozy room but was upgraded on arrival, the room was beautiful, fresh cookies everyday , tea coffee replenished, the bed so comfortable, the location was perfect for getting around the Cotswolds and at night the hotel looked was stunning loved the water wheel , we ate at the restaurant one night and the food was delicious I can’t fault the hotel at all

No iron in room and asked several times for one, to no avail.

Lovely hotel and restaurant but the walls were paper thin so had a very bad experience trying to sleep. The room was also pretty small so felt like the value was a bit off. Could hear conversations clearly and cleaning team and front desk were especially loud early both days. Lovely people though, and if you were just going to eat it’s a great spot.

A lovely hotel situated in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Superior room was excellent. A nice size with a double shower and bath. Bed was comfy. Hotel restaurant had a good choice and food was of a very good standard. Breakfast particularly set us up well for the day. Hotel staff were also welcoming and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Quirky, historic, characterful hotel, staff both pleasant & courteous. Spiral staircase with roped handrail to "signature room" might be challenging for some, but worth the effort.
