The staff were fine, the beds in the room were fine, but the room itself wasn’t great, very dated, hand prints on the walls, the room was advertised as having air conditioning but there was only a stand up fan held together with tape. There were several stains on the carpet also

Whilst the building looks tired and the fixtures and fittings are basic it is what you would expect for the price as I think it is very good value for the price that you pay. It is such a shame that you can hear the room next door too clearly especially if in the early hours there is lots of noise coming from the room! Staff, however, when nothing short of helpful for marks for the staff

Only stayed one night to go to a concert. Said check in from 3pm but when I arrived at 4pm room was not ready. No air-conditioning in room but it was big & beds looked clean but whole place is in need of decorating. Lift was out if order. Kettle in room but only two mugs for three people. Had to ask a couple of times to get an extra mug. Did not use bath or shower over bath as didn't look clean. Towels are provided but no toiletries. Pub next door was good for a drink beforehand but doesn't do food. We went to Bents garden centre which is only 0.5 mile away for breakfast and would recommend.

The hotel looked good size. Check in was easy. Front of hotel looked clean and inviting. Was given key and electric card. Found my room ok. On 2nd floor. Room was bright and well decorated in fresh white and grey. Bathroom had shower over bath. Nice tiles all around. Plenty clean white towels left me. Large TV. Tea maker . I couldn't fault the room. Looked fine. 3 locks on door. So as single woman felt safe. Lift was out of order. Swimming pool was out of use. Had a large pub next door. But at my visit no food available. Shop up the road for sandwiches drinks etc. also Greggs across motorway. Sheets were white. Very clean. Carpet hoovered. I didn't have a car. but lots of parking. it was very quiet on my floor at time of my 3 day stay. excellent price below £40 a night. you can't complain about that. would definitely come back. hotel is on a busy highway. so please note that for light sleepers. I enjoyed my stay.

I've stayed here several times and it's getting worse not better. The furniture is battered and tired, there were chunks of plaster out of the wall, and the fancy new TVs are useless without a decent internet connection (which there isn't). The shower was useless. All that said there is plenty of parking, the bed was comfortable and towels large & fluffy. For a one night stay en route it's adequate. (NB hotel requires ID, don't think it says that on the booking form?)

The hotel was clean but had a very strong stench,the staff were helpful and gave me an air freshener but I know I couldn’t stay another night ..:the smell was really strong

VERY outdated! The pictures make it seem more modern than it is but old wardrobes, old curtains, old hairdryer, old desk and chairs. The corridors are very old and smell of cigarette smoke. The bed was dirty with what looked like blood stain and white stains on the head board. Windows were very thin and I could hear the traffic clearly.

Good location for work free parking

As much as everything was perfect the bath needed cleaning

Sadly not liking that there were obviously rooms being used perhaps for resident purposes also we noticed that there seem to be quite a few “ foreign young men with a different culture present “

Quite a lot of the hotel is very run down.Its seems homeless and refugees ate being homed here too.No pool and no bar or eatery as advertised.Rooms very noisy from others living there

Easy access parking. Upgraded rooms. Very clean bathroom. Good and comfortable bed.

Parking easy did the job for a one night stay very comfortable two lads on reception amazing well done lads

The first room we were allocated was terrible it smelt so bad. We asked to be changed to another room. Which the staff did. The second room was ok.

Staff were like robots, room was dated however clean. Alot of noise through the night

Windows dont close so cold all the time no facilities just a room no bar tv the size of a phone. No bar no nothing. Lift not in use

this hotel is truly awful. It seems to have been taken over as a hotel for refugees and the smell of smoke was everywhere. We checked in at 4.30 pm and the first room smelled of smoke so badly that we rejected it. We were then given a room on the second floor (past a non functioning lift!) The room itself was only slightly smelly but the corridor stank of smoke. We tried to stay in the room but by 6.30pm we had had enough and we checked out and decided to drive home.

Room was good but other guest accessible areas weren’t in the best state. Seems to be under new management/ renovation.

Was clean and is under slow renovation, but for one night and the price it was ok, staff very welcoming and helpful.
