윈더미어역에서 가까워서 숙소 찾아가거나 버스탈 때 (출발 정류장이 기차역 바로 앞) 편해요. 오레스트 헤드가 바로 근처라 두번이나 다녀왔어요~ 주인분이 굉장히 친절하셨고 화장실과 방이 아주 청결합니다. 숙소 주변은 굉장히 평화롭고 조용해요~ 슈퍼나 식당 등을 이용할 땐 조금 걸어나가야 합니다.

Everything about the stay was wonderful

What a lovely place to stay. The staff were very friendly and on hand to offer ideas. The breakfast was great, fresh, well prepared and served by either a smile. The room was clean, quiet and came with fresh milk. The accommodation was a little out of the main area but only a few minutes walk. Easy parking. My partner and I will definitely return.

The Hideaway is a family run hotel with fantastic facilities, great meals to select from at breakfast and the personal touch you get from the staff members are second to none. Safe and quiet environment close to the heart of Windermere with free parking, and just a walking distance to the Lake and all the restaurants around. Very happy people, thank you for taking care of us.

Breakfast was excellent the best mushrooms I have ever eaten. Room was very clean. I was slightly disappointed with the mattress as it was not the most comfortable mattress I've slept on. The home made cake was beautiful. I would stay again but not in the same bed.

Brilliant

The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent...quiet and beautiful ....Windermere has everything from supermarkets to craft and walking gear shops, pubs to a variety of restaurants. We parked the car in front of The Hideaway, it was just a few minutes walk into the town, and we could also easily drive out to other locations. The breakfasts were excellent (with very good veggie/vegan alternatives) served by super efficient and very friendly staff. We would definitely book here again.

The room was nice clean, the bathroom was really nice. The best part was the hosting and the breakfast provided was absolutely brilliant loved our stay.. the cake that was gucen too was a really nice touch. Thanks again.

We stayed at The Hideaway for 3 nights in August. Unfortunately the weather was very changeable so we couldn’t enjoy the outside surroundings very much as took advantage of the dry parts to explore. The room was quite small but still ok for us. The breakfast options are wonderful! Nothing was ever too much trouble if you wanted to exchange certain breakfast items and we were honestly so full we didn’t eat until the evenings. Everyone was very friendly and having a piece of cake every day was a lovely little treat. It was a nice walk into Windermere and also Bowness-On-Windermere if you can. The hop on/off bus can be caught at the station if you want to travel around which we did. The Lake District is just beautiful and we very much enjoyed our visit. The only thing we would say is that maybe the communal area could be a little brighter, with maybe less furniture to make it a more pleasant place to relax.

Lovely clean hotel, room was bright and clean, shower could be better with a booster pump, breakfast to die for fab choices! The only improvement would be a bar in main lounge so you could have a wee nightcap before bed!! Otherwise a lovely clean and welcoming hotel with amazing staff!!

Excellent location, easy to park. Our room (number 1) was large, with huge ensuite and access to a private patio area. I would highly recommend the Hideaway. Breakfast was fantastic and the daily cake was lovely.
