Terrible internet, the worst reservations team, fire alarms going off in the dead of night for no reason and with no acknowledgement or apology. This hotel is on a fast track to the tip.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights. Good breakfast. Evening bar food not so good. Plenty of parking. Beds comfortable.

I was disappointed that parking is no longer free if you book through a 3rd party like Hotels.com. There wasn't a parking space but the hotel wanted to charge £6 to leave my car on the curb. They asked that I book with them directly and I said it was cheaper on this site and the response was not when you add parking and booking direct gets you £10 discount on bar/restaurant (which I don't use). I feel like they are trying to make it more expensive so people don't book elsewhere and they get more money out of each stay. I've booked the next three stays in Nottingham and I'm going elsewhere

Friendly and helpful staff. A beautiful setting for a lovely hotel.

Hotel is near the Jubilee campus but not near city centre. Clean and big room and staff was helpful. We had to pay for carpark at £6 per day. There used to be free carpark before this. It would be good if hotel guests are given free carpark like before as the price of the hotel stay is not cheap.

Lovely hotel. Girl serving in the cafe in the morning was quite miserable and unwelcoming but my have been having a bad day. Would stop again though as rest of stay was excellent.

Check in was fine, except the unexpected parking charge, which I was later told that this was because I had booked through a 3rd party. I pulled up my reservation and confirmed to the receptionist that it was advertised as Free Self Parking. Not communicated with me prior to arrival. An opportunity for immediate resolution was missed. Mis-selling, unfair treatment on consumer rights. Opening themselves right up to complaints and other issues. Room was musty, outdated and just felt like things had been chucked in there. Couldn't find a plug to charge my phone or do some work on my laptop. I booked a twin, was given a single. I'm 6'4", I need the extra room to move around. In the morning, no hot water...at all. Saving graces, the breakfast buffet was exceptional, the receptionist who helped me out in the morning was brilliant. Costs are similar to that of Premier Inn, but with nowhere near the quality. I will not be staying here again and recommend you dont either.

There’s plenty of free parking and I was visiting a friend in the Queens medical centre it was a short 11 minute walk.

Really good room for the price. Bathroom a little basic but does the job. Spokes cafe was poor overall though. Cafe was cold and so was the food. Freshly brought out beans were stone cold and fried eggs were snotty. Food not replaced often enough either. Would stay again but would go out for breakfast.

I would uld choose to stay here again. The overall level of customer service was very poor. Staff appeared disengaged and uninterested, and even simple queries or requests were met with minimal effort or support. There was no sense of care or willingness to assist throughout my stay. The room itself was extremely basic and felt more like student accommodation than a hotel. The bed was small there were no conveniently accessible plug sockets for charging devices, and the walls were exceptionally thin. Noise was a significant issue. I was kept awake until after midnight by people outside smoking and talking below my room. When I eventually managed to sleep, I was woken at around 02:00 by extremely loud snoring from a neighbouring room, which sounded as though it was coming from inside my own room, this really scared me. At 03:00 I contacted reception to ask if earplugs were available, but the response was dismissive and unhelpful, with no attempt to offer any form of solution. As a result, I was unable to sleep and became very distressed. I left my room in tears during the early hours and passed through reception without any acknowledgement or offer of support from staff. Ultimately, I took a pillow and rested in my car at around 04:45. Upon becoming cold I returned to my room and managed to get back to sleep to be woken by a fire alarm. Sadly the lack of care from staff and the poor construction of the rooms and lack of sound proofing lead to the worst experience.

Despite being a large hotel it feels spacious and peaceful. Everywhere was clean, the breakfast was good, there is enough parking and the area feels safe

There was a problem with the room being the shower attachment then the noisy radiator. The duty staff quickly attended and moved and upgraded me to a much more comfortable room. Thank you

Bedroom was hot, the fan provided was inadequate.

Lovely room in scenic setting. Excellent breakfast options and bar menu. Helpful , friendly staff. Parking mostly available but nearby spaces too.

Room was clean and comfortable, free parking was included and it was a perfect location for university facilities.
