They told me I didn't have a room and told me to go out.They couldn't even find my reservation. The 'hotels.com' said I had no problem at all. It's only a matter of hotel. This hotel doesn't have a conversation. They just told me to leave without any intention of solving my problem. You can be nervous ahead of your trip. Are you sure you should stay here?

Amazing spa and facilities

Room wasn't very clean, TV was tiny, tea facilities in wardrobe with no light and clearly there used to be a fridge but removed - Very disappointing. Spa was packed, no beds inside, jets area inside only a 1/3 of it worked. Breakfast was disappointing. I had 2 nights booked but didnt bother staying the second night. Wish I had saved the money and stayed in the Premier Inn behind it.

Room was clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent.

Disappointing all round. Room tired and shabby, plus not thoroughly cleaned. Spa showing its age (eg not all pool jets working). 30 min spa massage was actually closer to 20 mins. Emailed final bill included a “optional” service charge that could not be declined I.e not optional.

Friendly helpful staff, clean room, good food. All of the facilities were good. Treatments really good.

Great hotel and great facilities

Great stay, the spa was so relaxing we stayed for hours!

The hotel was fabulous, the staff were friendly and very welcoming. Spa was really great amazing experience. Breakfast was also very good selection and service outstanding.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. We had lunch at the restaurant before we checked in which we really enjoyed - plenty of options and good quality food. The pool and spa area is absolutely amazing. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are heated and it feels very cosy once it gets dark with the different lights. There’s plenty of beds to sit by the pool and you can order drinks straight to you - I’d recommend the mango rum punch! As it was NYE the staff very kindly gave every guest a glass of prosecco whilst counting in the new year. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our whole stay, very helpful! I would say the only negative about the place is the rooms. We were a bit disappointed as the room didn't have the same quality as the rest of the hotel. It was a bit run down and in need of redecorating, which is a bit of a shame as the rest of the hotel looks amazing. We would definitely come back but I don’t think we would stay overnight again unless there was a bit of a renovation with the rooms, however we would definitely come back to use the spa, pool and food services!

Lovely spa break

Comfortable room, although very hot at night. At breakfast the hot water for the tea was only lukewarm and should be hotter. When I mentioned this to a member of staff they said I was wrong and that it was "boiling". It's not good service to say to a customer that they are wrong. Curiously on the second day the water was much hotter. When we checked in we were asked to complete a long form about using the spa without checking with us if we intended to us the spa. As we had no plans to use the spa this was a waste of time.

Overall nice but need to fix locks on bathroom doors

The hotel was lovely, however, the air conditioning in our room didn’t work. We complained three times about it. Each time they attempted to fix it, but they didn’t. They provided us with Dyson fans which was a plus. But there was no communications to update us. The staff were very apathetic to our requests. But overall, a nice stay. Good food and the spa facilities were great.

Service was fantastic. Although the on line check in is pointless as you have to fill out the details again on arrival. Weird spa though in a light industrial estate opposite an Aldi, did not expect that. Dinner was really good, breakfast was terrible, poached eggs where the eggs were so overcooked they were inedible. For a spa break I wouldn’t go here again, for a business trip I would as the staff could not do enough, even finding my wife a hairbrush which she forgot to pack.

Nice place but was disappointed with the first room I wax given. I bought my complaint to the attention of the duty manager and swapped to a new room, which was the best outcome.

Staff excellent. Food very good - evening and breakfast Car park was quite full when we arrived early eve. Bar was surprisingly good for a health spa etc. Great draught beer, wine, cocktails -and not overpriced for such a lovely establishment! Really enjoyed- cheers!!
