Staff was super friendly and kind!

Absolutely wonderful stay, cannot recommend highly enough. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the breakfast choice and quality was first class. The added bonus of parking onsite perfect. We will definitely be returning

Great location, very good breakfast. Clean comfortable room. Lovely stay. Parking has to be paid for if accommodation not booked directly with the hotel.

Parking for a big car a little tight but all good. Didn't visit the bar but we did intend to....just how it worked out.

Overall a great stay

The room was very clean, just a shame it was on the third floor , which was a little tough on my knees with no lift in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location.

All of the above, plus within a short walk of all amenities. What more could we ask for? Will definitely stay at the Minster again! Thank you to everyone who made us so welcome.

The receptionists were friendly and polite. We were able to drop our bag off prior to checking in which was great and they even put the bag in our room ready for us. We were also offered to leave it at check out which was nice. The room was newly refurbished with plenty of space and 2 chairs to sit on so we didn’t have to lounge on the bed which we appreciated. Breakfast was busy but there was plenty of cold buffet choices along with an order taken for hot food and all staff were pleasant. We would definitely stay again.

The room is clean but the standout is the staff - they are lovely. They leave a little parcel outside your door if you do not request room service which is a really nice hands off approach. In larger establishments you just don't get anything replenished if you don't take the room service. Location is unreal - would definitely come back if we are back in York!

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfast on offer was very good. The location was convenient even though the weather was wet for much of the time.

First class hotel, warm throughout the hotel and rooms. Pleasant front desk staff and luggage storage.

Room was a good size but without a wardrobe? Reception lady was lovely. Breakfast excellent. Location brilliant. Car park was a good size but full up.

The car park was a secure gated area for hotel patrons only which I found to be a massive plus for York. As car parks in York, in my opinion, all seem to be hidden away and often some distance away from most of the accommodations as well as being quite expensive for overnight stays. The receptionists were cheerful, friendly and helpful, which after a two and a half hour drive was a very welcome sight. Our room, although not huge, was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. Our breakfast at the hotel was more than enough to see us through until lunch, and then we felt we only needed a light one. There is a buffet table with cereals, jams,fruit and bread/toast. The cooked breakfast was made to order with plenty of options. Overall we had great stay and cannot recommend the Minster Hotel highly enough. Phil &Ginny Nov. 7-10th

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely - our only real criticism is that the hotel was swelteringly warm all the time even with the window as wide open as we could make it and that made sleeping a little difficult.
