A clean room. Our only concern was a few steps to the shower room and we were on the second floor. But we will take this into account when we next book this hotel.

It’s easy to access multiple attraction points.

Excellent hotel less than 5 minutes walk from the Minster Cathedral and all the main attractions.Hotel room spacious, clean, and smartly decorated. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Bed amd pillows a little too hard for my liking but were ideal for my husband. Didn't realise that if we had booked direct with the hotel we would have saved on the £10pn on the parking.

First thing i need to highlight is the staff. Everyone was fantastic. Friendly, supportive and happy and everyone was really helpful. The room was comfy, spacious, clean and quiet. There are sections where the hotel is a bit tired, but the important bits that matter are great. Breakfast was VERY GOOD. freshly cooked and plentiful. Parking was great also but i can see that you do have to get there early as its a big hotel, but still, it's safe and I'm guessing about 25-30 spaces so you'd be unlucky not to get a space. Overall, really lovely hotel and stay and thank you to the staff.

Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of tea and coffee, bed large and comfortable. Carpets clean.

Parking good electronic gate so no one can get in without staff opening gate. Breakfast cooked fresh once you ordered it, staff very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, able to leave luggage before and after stay. Lovely breakfast, great location.

The hotel and room was far superior than what we expected. Everwhere was spotlessly clean. Our room was very large with careful thought that there was everything at hand that you need in there. Breakfast was really good too. The staff were so friendly, polite and welcoming, thank you for that. Overall The Minster Hotel was a little gem find of a hotel that we will have no hesitation in returning.

Staff were extremely accommodating. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was newly refurbished. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice. Parking was ideal. Hotel was walking distance to the city.

Fantastic location, kind and helpful staff,comfortable anf clean room. Allowed me to check in early as my room was ready, which was really great. Unique property. Did not have breakfast as i was enjoying my sleep! Special note of thanks to the member of the housekeeping team that helped me figure out how the lights worked. Would stay again.

We've always stay in this lovely family owned hotel. 3 star hotel with 5 star + staff. Car park is very good and the hotel is about 5 minutes walk from The Minster and The Shambles. Breakfast is delicious. Will definitely be staying again.

only a one night stay ,room was very clean, large bed was extra comfortable with good amount of pillows. bathroom spotless. Reception very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic, i had full english but there was a wide and varied choice of other food and juice/drinks, coffee refilled multiple times. Breakfast staff friendly and quick to serve/ clear. Overall a great experience and i have no hesitation in recommending the Minster Hotel to anyone 10/10

I have stayed at the Minster Hotel before the rooms are beautiful breakfast plentiful and variety of fresh yogurt grapefuit apple cereals plus a hearty english breakfast cooked to order and staff very accommodating and friendly. The stairs are my only issue and i suggest u try and get a room on a lower level but other than that a fantastic hotel close to all that York has to offer.
