더 노먼허스트 호텔

전반적으로 좋았다. 영국 고택을 호텔로 개조하여 운치도 있고 영국스러움도 느낄 수 있었다. 가족과 함께 여행을 간다면 한 번쯤 묵어도 좋을 듯 하다. 조용하고 가족적이었다.

정말 쾌적하고 좋아요. 공항에서도 가깜고 다만 메트로에선 좀 멀어요.

My room was very nice and comfortable. It had all what I basically needed, WiFi, TV, iron, microwave, kettle, fridge. Wish the fridge was more cooler. The bed was so comfortable and soft carpet. Lots of cupboard space and decent size table, opening window. Bathroom was good, shower was so relaxing. I wish I could have mix taps or a basin plug which it didn't and shaving was a little awkward with no mixed water. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A couple of nights there was a big disturbance and fight between other guests and too much shouting and screaming, which after two nights disappeared. Behaviour of guests is not the owners fault.

Parking was fine, location was good for what I was doing. The staff I dealt with were great.

We arrived expecting to stay in the main building.. the guy on reception was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible .. however we were shown to a run down annexe at the back.. nothing like the photos on Hotel.com. The room overlooked a broken fence , the beds were very springy.. One of the bulbs was missing in the bedside light, when the guy tried to replace it, it tripped the switch so we were plunged into darkness.. In the grimy bathroom the water in the shower was tepid.. we were told it was due to the hotel being fully booked and a demand on the boiler. So we conceded to shower in the morning, bad mistake as it was then ice cold.. The TV pixilated on most of the channels.. We couldn’t wait to leave the place…never again.

Room was awful dirty smelly.

New bathroom shower toilet basin and tiles, about the only features I would retain unfortunately. Carpet was filthy, double glazing in window was totally fogged up, could not see out. Building has just not been maintained at all, grounds also badly neglected. Main Building, little that I saw of the entrance lobby and stairs, etc, would make an ideal set for a scary movie, like Alfred Hitchcocks Psycho.

On arrival good first impression, receptionist was lovely and helpful information in the reception area. However, this hotel needs some major TLC, a lick of paint and some air freshener! We stayed in the adjoining building but the corridors are grubby, really outdated and smelt awful of what I can only match to BO smells and then our room smelt of cigarettes, again very grubby walls/carpet, outdated and just not inviting at all. It's not even about being modern, the carpet is lifting all around the edges and at the joins, the curtains are grubby and musty, walls are grubby and in dier need of a lick of paint. There were mould spots around the seal of the bath, the shower didn't work at all and was poorly fitted, and the bath taps were not secure. We couldn't have a morning shower at 7am and there was no staff around to ask for help. We needed somewhere to stay night before marathon and it did the job for that but never again, it was also disappointing that the hotel was full of marathon runners yet there was no staff available early morning and no breakfast available until 8am which was too late for some of us running earlier. It has the potential to be a beautiful place but is really let down currently.

The Normanhurst is starting to look very tired and a bit run down, having said that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Parking was good, the location is great and pricing was better than the competitor hotels nearby.

Arrived 22:30 after an evening flight back from a city break. Told family room was unavailable due to water leak in ceiling, instead offered ‘superior room’ with mattress (mouldy) on floor for my teenage daughter. Whole place was frankly in poor state: pot holes in car park, breakfast room door handle missing, stained carpets. I have never paid for accommodation and then on viewing it, felt I’d rather leave and drive home, but that’s what we did.

Heating not properly working radiators need bleeding

Everything about the hotel was terrible. I cannot think of anything that would want us to stay there again. Room dirty and damp, had to run water for mins to get it hot.Carpet damp and dirty.

People are nice. Room was dated. Had to sleep for a night so was not fussed. Breakfast lady was amazing and ok food choices

Room was clean. Tea station and towels were well stocked. Arriving at 8:30pm. We had to wait a while for someone to come to the front desk.
