Great location. Car park close by. Paid 11 pounds for 24 hours. Self check in with key lock. Room 8 up top. view of estuary. Nice Stay. Room not immaculate as paint peeling in places and shower door in wet room seemed to not close as meant to. Breakfast was beeing cleared when we went down 30 mins before end time, but lady was lovely and put it out for us.

Room was clean and tidy. No one there when we arrived, but thats ok.

We have stayed at the Quay many times and Alexandra always takes time to make sure everything is just right. It's always our place to stay in Wells.

Good place to stay, close to all amenities and beach.

Breakfast was cancelled at very short notice. Check in was automated due to no staff as well. Room was pleasant enough but no hand soap supplied for the wash-hand basin.

Wasnt very keen as their was no one to greet us.There was instructions on how to get in though.It stated breakfast upon booking but they wasn't able to provide breakfast when we arrived. They had the tables and crockery out and sauces though.They left us money for our breakfast which didnt seem professional. Our room was very Musty and Dry smelling which wasn't pleasant. I couldn't get the shower to work properly and it was too hot too stand underneath it so I had to exit the shower still with suds and rinse under the tap in the basin.

Excellent location right in the town centre close to the quay. Couldn’t be better. Lovely spacious room and super king size bed which was very comfortable. Very clean room, tea, coffee, biscuits available. Good modern bathroom and good shower. Self check in and check out was very efficient. Would rather have had some human contact but otherwise all excellent. 😊

Pros Bed was very comfortable. Centrally located. Cons The shower arrangement meant that the toilet area got wet, and a proper screen/door would have been beneficial. The fridge was located on top of a chest of drawers and didn't feel steady when it was open and closed. Also, the TV was situated behind it, and whilst it didn't obstruct the view, it made it clumsy and cluttered. Minimum storage as well Breakfast option cancelled 48 hours before visit. We were refunded but overall the room did not feel value for money.

Fabulous location, check in easy and bed and bedding was very comfortable.

We booked this room months ago as it was listed with breakfast included. The day before we received a text stating that they don't offer breakfast and would leave £10 cash per customer. This clearly doesn't allow time to book another place as concerts were being held at Sandringham, where we had booked too. So we had no choice. The message also said there was no parking, and we had to pay at a local car park, not mentioned on the site. The room was OK, small for the price, bathroom door stuck and was noisy. The blinds are not recessed, but have a gap all round, which allowed light to flood in at sunrise, at 5am. Some maintenence also needed. I messaged the owner back in the whatsapp chat, requesting another room with black out, but no reply. I also enclosed a photo to prove how bright it was with blinds closed. We were also next to a place that had all the air con units on the room, next to our room. None of this is mentioned on the website or in advance. The owner was the most rude obstinate person I've ever encountered. She refused to help in anyway and refused to refund, despite everything being her fault... no breakfast, bright room, air con noise etc. The room is way too expensive for what you get. I see there are many poor reviews for this place and vile owner, extremely unprofessional. We checked out early, so she could easily resell the room, and upon requesting the £20 to be refunded as we had paid £140 a night for room, but no reply!!!!

Good location, like the communal seating area to use with free tea/coffee etc so you don't have to spend all your down time in your room

My top marks for everything come from someone who ran her own BnB in France. Right in the middle of town, nextdoor to the best ice cream parlour and with the best bed I’ve ever slept in … what more can I say?

The property was clean but needs updating. Please get rid of the fluffy blanket and pillow.

Excellent stay would definitely go again

This is a very easy B&B to stay in and is very well located right on the seafront in Wells. Downstairs has a small lounge and dining area with tea and coffee facilities. The room was a decent size and the bed very comfortable. Nice wet room with a light heated mirror so no problem with steaming up. Definitely worth considering and we’re looking to returning again soon.
