It was a pretty clean room, good staff, and decent for the price. I did have somebody trying to get into my room whilst I was inside, and only 2 light switches worked,however it was a decent little Hotel.

Clean and simple. Good price, no frills but just what was needed. Good shower and water pressure. Clean bathroom

Room was ok for the price

It was not easy to find the entrance, I ended up phoning to ask how to get in. It turned out the entrance was next door in the pub. If your fit your ok, but I had a problem with my leg, and there was no lift, and the stairs were really narrow and with bends in. I did ask the Lady behind the bar if she would carry my case. She was very nice and helpful saying I was on the second floor, but she could move me down to the first floor which I was grateful for.

Room was clean. Staff were excellent and very happy to deal anything you wanted. The hotel was very convenient for public transport.

Didn’t get any breakfast, never saw a menu. The staff were very friendly, but there was only two of them when I arrived full-blown Party even though I was on the top floor, I could still hear this bloody woman on the Mic. Room was very small and bathroom was very mouldy. The whole place was run down.

I visited for 1 night and prior to my stay I had emailed requesting rooms together which I did not receive a reply, this was a little disappointing as we were on different floors! We also felt a little unsafe at the property and the beds were very uncomfortable with springs noticeable! Our rooms were clean and had the basics of what was needed, however very outdated and I experienced a lot of plaster crumbling off my wall! I don’t think the hotel matches up with how it is described on advertised sites!

AVOID THIS PLACE.... Property is above a bar with serious property damage. Staff are ok but the room... Filthy, curtains falling off the windows. Feels like rooms are rented "by the hour" sort of place. Hotels.com approached to get a refund but they replied with "unable to contact hotel" type answer. Another lazy property owner not doing the basics. Owners should be ashamed. Do not believe the advertising.

Yes planty of shops and location two mins from the center of town and same for the train .

Dont go to this hotel at all its not in a living condition at all the beds are old and the mattress you can feel the springs going into your back. I told the staff they did not care at all they just want your miney

Room was clean and staff were great

They no longer serve a free cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast they serve instead is plentiful and good. Otherwise it’s still great value for a clean and comfortable room. There’s easy, free on-street parking very close, as long as you’re moving your car by 9am

Quick walk from the train station and into town. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Rooms are adequate and clean. Great value for a solo traveler.

The room was basic but ok. Clean bed linen and clean towels. Ideal for a stopover. Very disappointed that it was only on check in that it was only continental breakfast as the chef was on holiday. As it was free to cancel up until the day before I feel that the hotel should have contacted us prior to arrival so we had a choice if we wanted to continue with the stay or cancel and book somewhere else. The hotel obviously would be aware in advance if they had given the chef holidays.
