When we arrived the hotel did not have the correct information for our booking. The receptionist blamed the multiple “operators” who book rooms for the fact that a family of four was only offered a twin room. They were unable to reach Hotels.com to rectify the situation and we were put in a room that was no where near what we booked. The hotel was tired, run down, and the pictures used were obviously many many years old

Paper thin walls couldnt sleep

Not the nicest place to stay no cleaning rooms very basic asked for things never got them poor maintenance

The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low but we definitely won’t go back again.

How this place still runs as a hotel I do not know from the moment we got out the car the urine stench was unbearable, all corners of the car park were filled with rubbish. Inside was horrendous carpet not been hoovered or cleaned in 20 years mattress springs coming through, dust dirt and stains on every surface wall skirting board. Mould in bathroom, used needles outside out window (roof view) We left faster than we checked in Couldn’t pay me to stay there avoid at all cost The photos online are defiantly not of this hotel. The staff were like volunteers who just didn’t want to be there no help at all

The building is old and needs some updating. But staff were friendly and helpful and it was a cheap 1 night stay which was what I needed.

It didn’t start well when I was left waiting an hour due to a room mix up. I booked and had confirmation for a twin room but was told they only had a single room. The manager did try & help but it was a hotel mistake and not mine. Eventually, was offered a double room on the top floor. The lift didn’t work and the communal areas were so tired. A smell of a certain substance was awful & the main reception area was dirty and tired. The bin was overflowing and loads of flies were around this area. I’m sure this was a nice hotel back in the day but it needs a LOT of money spending on it to make it habitable. It was very cheap so guess can’t complain about the price.

I was very disappointed with the hotel room. It was not cleaned properly before as there was poo left in the toilet from the last people that were in there and hardly any toilet roll left. The soap and shower suspensers were all empty and not filled up either and also there is a weird smell in the hotel and needs alot of updating. Was not worth £50 pound for the night so won't be staying again.

On arrival there was smell of marajuana drugs The room it self wasn’t bad but there was no toilet paper to use and no soap to wash hands The towels were dirty with stains Bed and everything else was ok

Where do I start..... Parking is not clearly signed so not sure where was ok to park. Got to reception and no-one was there just a sign saying please ring this number. So when I rang the lady said that she will be right there and we stood there waiting about 10 mins when a man then asked if everything was ok. There was lots of post on the side. We were then given our door code as they do not do keys. We then went to our room which was on the 2nd floor the lift didn't work. When we then got to our room the code didn't work either. So had to go back down and sort a new code while we were there we also mentioned the lift didn't work and was told that we had to close the door ourselves. We then finally got into our room where it was cold. There was very little toilet paper and no-one to then ask for some as there wasn't anyone at the deck. The floor boards move. So every time I got out of bed they felt like they were going to collapse under my feet. We where kindly asked to be quick after 9o'clock when we signed in to respect other guests. At 9.45pm there was guy from the hotel grinding the metal emergency stairs that was attached to the wall outside our room. The bed had an old mattress that the springs had gone so not comfortable. Then we went down in the morning to check out again no-one was there to see us off. Overall a terrible experience.

Positives were the parking and the helpful member of staff I encountered. But the building is in major need of an overhaul, as you walk through there is a smell of damp and everything is very retro. No room keys/cards it’s a pin entry system on each bedroom and has a prison feel to it. Overall fine for a one night stay but I wouldn’t want to have a week based out of Tor Park.

Smelly. It's nothing like a 3 star hotel. I went for an interview next day and all my clothes were smelly and floor never cleaned and the shower overflow. Please don't book this even for free. Not worth it. Disgusting

The rooms need refurbishmant but very clean and quality bathroom with good shower. Comfottable bed and lovely staff. Very good value for the money. No breakfast or dining faciliity but the hotel is close to the town centre and a few minutes walk to cafes and restaurants. Great parking.

The only positive is the location. The room was filthy with stains all over the floor, there was no cold water, both the hot and the cold tap were boiling hot. The toilet was blocked and had to unblock it myself. The shower basin didn't drain properly and so was stood in dirty water when showering. The mug had hairs in it. There were urine stains on the toilet. The whole hotel was just very outdated and dirty and I'm surprised it's still running.

This hotel is appalling. It looks like rundown bldg inside. We checked in on Saturday evening and the reception is full of teenagers who looks shady. The room was below standard. There was no toilet papers, reception is closed because its weekend. Good thing we brought our own toilet papers. The bed are old and sunken. The carpets in the room and in the hallways looked filthy not to mention the smell of it . This hotel needs a full refurbishment. Am sorry, but my 2 nights stay in this hotel is not enjoyable as its giving me anxiety because of the people surrounding the area as well as the safety and security of this establishment is not guaranteed.

My room was ok although the tiles on shower were broken and falling off, but they repaired this during my stay,. Hotel exterior is very run down and reception area unclean and unwelcoming. The long walk to my room was ok however walked through the now non functioning restaurant and entertainment area which smelt of damp and was a dumping ground not too pleasant area, I then went through a door into a corridor with windows to exterior of hotel which had ledges with rubbish and green moss and weeds growing all around, looking a bit derelict from the inside, I got to my room which has state of art entry and looking system which was very good. The view from my bedroom window was one of dereliction broken drain pipes weeds in gutters and general lack of care of the property, with dumped mattresses and rubbish. Window has mould round it and the glass had blown showing condensation over it.. room was ok so to speak of but really not the hotel that I thought I has booked,. Heard other guests complaining about state of the hotel, The whole place was very run down not a place i will ever return to and if you stay in hotels often id advise others not to also.. am surprised hotels.com have this on their listing's. Not up to their usual standard

Was an average stay, staff are nice

Do not book this place, its a hostel for Stella drinking toothless inbred men amd woman off there nuts on crack and chuck in a few illegals, you get the picture. Photos are pinched of places like Travelodge and know way reflect this hovel. Adam who is dealing with my complaint has just forwarded a stock response of we're looking into it. Adam, I've passed your name and hotel details to a Bike club who are looking for accommodation while down your way. Good luck with your customer experience 👍

Room was fine for the price. Clean and friendly staff. Pet friendly for 10 pound a night can't complain about the place atall.

** edited ** wouldn’t let me post Absolutely filthy!! Upon speaking to some of the locals it’s actually a hostel for wrongens mainly !! It’s not a hotel holiday stay they refused me my refund back the place was grimey underground is definitely cleaner !! Staff are useless piss takes I had insurance and still refused to pay me my money back after a week Of constant calls I finally got my money back !! Don’t trust this place !!
