Tor Park Hotel

This hotel is appalling. It looks like rundown bldg inside. We checked in on Saturday evening and the reception is full of teenagers who looks shady. The room was below standard. There was no toilet papers, reception is closed because its weekend. Good thing we brought our own toilet papers. The bed are old and sunken. The carpets in the room and in the hallways looked filthy not to mention the smell of it . This hotel needs a full refurbishment. Am sorry, but my 2 nights stay in this hotel is not enjoyable as its giving me anxiety because of the people surrounding the area as well as the safety and security of this establishment is not guaranteed.

My room was ok although the tiles on shower were broken and falling off, but they repaired this during my stay,. Hotel exterior is very run down and reception area unclean and unwelcoming. The long walk to my room was ok however walked through the now non functioning restaurant and entertainment area which smelt of damp and was a dumping ground not too pleasant area, I then went through a door into a corridor with windows to exterior of hotel which had ledges with rubbish and green moss and weeds growing all around, looking a bit derelict from the inside, I got to my room which has state of art entry and looking system which was very good. The view from my bedroom window was one of dereliction broken drain pipes weeds in gutters and general lack of care of the property, with dumped mattresses and rubbish. Window has mould round it and the glass had blown showing condensation over it.. room was ok so to speak of but really not the hotel that I thought I has booked,. Heard other guests complaining about state of the hotel, The whole place was very run down not a place i will ever return to and if you stay in hotels often id advise others not to also.. am surprised hotels.com have this on their listing's. Not up to their usual standard

Do not book this place, its a hostel for Stella drinking toothless inbred men amd woman off there nuts on crack and chuck in a few illegals, you get the picture. Photos are pinched of places like Travelodge and know way reflect this hovel. Adam who is dealing with my complaint has just forwarded a stock response of we're looking into it. Room was fine for the price. Clean and friendly staff. Pet friendly for 10 pound a night can't complain about the place atall.

It’s not a hotel holiday stay they refused me my refund back the place was grimey underground is definitely cleaner !! Staff are useless piss takes I had insurance and still refused to pay me my money back after a week Of constant calls I finally got my money back !! Don’t trust this place !!

This hotel is very dingy and shabby. The bedroom had dark grey walls, making it feel.like a cell. There was no.breakfast. i didnt want to sleep there, so I slept on my friend's sofa instead. It is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I wonder if it being used primarily to house homeless people.

Room was only mediocre, young female in reception treated me as if I was a third class citizen, like the place was run like a prison. The entry to the property was downtrodden and dirty. I know I only paid £33 for the room, promised tea and coffee facilities. Tea only. Curtains hanging from runners. Bed and mattress weren't a pair, no mattress cover only sheet and quilt barely fit the bed. The wardrobe when you opened the door, the back panel was hanging off. The shower cubicle itself needed replacing or total refurbishment. In general the place was a dump

The room was adequate, needed to open a window, could only open ensuite toilet window, room was a bit stuffy.

The first room we were given had a dirty toilet the beds hadn't been changed you could see where they had been laid in and the toilet seat was hanging off

Overall the property is. It well maintained and was also housing homeless/migrants. One had a dog that kept barking. Just needed a good upgrade

Most of the downstairs smelt of damp very badly. No heat in the room,only a kettle no tea coffee or sugar and no milk

The room was dirty, the clientel were migrant workers, drug users, and men seeking refuge. We didn't stay and booked another hotel elsewhere. When we went back to collect our car there were 2 ambulances outside because someone had ODed.

The room felt very basic, Heating non existent, radiators gurgled and clanged all night, No Heat. Staff not present waited 95 minutes at reception for someone to turn up to book us in, even after phoning contact number on wall which went to answerphone , Then phoned head off ice in London 4 times promised someone in 5 minutes, never answered after 4 call

Staff were good room was good for the money. Will return.

Staff very friendly. Comfy beds and choice of tv channels. Room could have been cleaner with old bag of food found on radiator and both soap and shower wash a squirt away from running out. A mile walk to town so nice and convenient. Takeaway and Premier 2 mins walk away

The place was dump dirty Broken windows. No hot tap working. No hot water from shower.

I am so sorry but i gave this hotel 3 chances, the boss and manager i really nice people but the sheets on the bed dont get changed, there were hairs and crumbs and smell of other people in the bed, i had to strip it and sleep on the stained mattress, room smelled bad of B.O. no towels in room, and carpet looked like it hadn’t been hoovered in weeks if not longer, im so sorry but this hotel needs cleaners!! Again i am so sorry to the owner for writing this, you have always been kind to me but you urgently need to do something here
