The staff here and other residents were lovely, friendly and helpful. I felt safe on my first solo trip as a young woman so thank you! The common areas are good for reading/laptop work and having the water tap by reception was good for staying hydrated throughout the trip. Sharing a room with others was overall a good experience and I had no trouble :) Very peaceful vibes here I would come again if i stay in Brighton another time!

What a great find - brilliant location, bargain price, clean and spacious room. But the real upsides were the helpful and friendly staff and the brilliant breakfast. "Continental breakfast" but English style - crumpets and muffins (the UK not the US style) with all the toppings including marmite (yum), freshly prepared toasties and more. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, price and clean, roomy and comfortable room. Poor lighting in room though and morning street noise. Hotel frontage and reception undergoing needed renovation. Helpful and friendly staff.

Great location and very friendly staff, but room was a bit tired and some furniture a bit scuffed. TV was on the floor and not on a table.

We booked a room for 3, great location. hotel looked a bit tired but the room was clean and very comfortable, good quality bedding and towels. Only stayed for 1 night but would stay here again The bar area was closed and did not have breakfast so cant comment, reception staff friendly. Used the parking app to reserve parking nearby which was £34 for 24hrs. Town centre was just a short walk, beach across the road with plenty going on, would be great in the summer months. We stayed for 2 nights. The check-in process was smooth and the staff member who checked us in was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable of Brighton. The room is basic but good for the price. The walls were however, dirty with what could have been coffee sprayed on the walls. But the washroom was clean. There was nothing in regards to cleanliness that ruined our stay, just little things we noticed. The second night of our two day stay we returned from dinner to find that something from the bathroom had leaked and flooded the entry way of the room and bathroom. We informed the front desk and our room was changed. I did ask them for a small travel sized toothpaste for the trouble and they still charged me for it which was disappointing. Overall the location and staff are the best aspect of this hotel. This is a good no-frills option if you don’t care for a luxury stay, it gets the job the done.

The stay was lovely and staff very friendly and room clean. However if you would like a substantial breakfast I would go elsewhere for this.

Very enjoyable

Seaview room was nice and spacious, however the heating didn't seem to turn off, so it was very warm and we needed to have the windows open during the duration of our stay. The hotel is in a great location by the beach and was great for our one night stay.

First impression was the warm welcome i received when i checked in. The guy was really friendly.

Room was clean and towels were generous. Central heat was out, though staff brought a space heater. Lift was out and there was no plug for the sink. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not worth any money. Go up the street to the cafe Nero

Hôtel situé dans un secteur assez central, mais pas le plus beau. Système de transport autobus fréquent et pratique à quelques minutes de marche. Accès à l’épicerie à 6 minutes à pieds. La chambre (107) n’était pas propre: cheveux au sol, traces sur la robinetterie, coulisses brunes sur le mur. La chambre serait assez grande pour avoir deux petits fauteuils, mais il n’y a qu’une chaise de bureau vraiment très vieille et inconfortable. Le drain de la douche ne fournit pas. On entend des bruits de plomberie je crois dans les murs. Bruyant la nuit quand les clients de la chambres en haut sont rentrés (on les entend marcher). Chambre et salle de bain qui ont besoin d’être rafraîchis!
