The hotel staff were lovely and helpful, I was able to leave my case at reception as I was off out for the day, and wouldn't be back till the evening. The hotel was lovely had a good relaxing feeling. My room was very clean and cosy. Bathroom was clean, however the hot water in the shower went cold after a short time. Not to bad a thing as the cold water woke me up and I was ready for the day (04.00). The bed was clean and comfy however, it felt like the bed was on a slight slop. I felt at times i was going to roll off 😄 (no I hadn't being drinking). Not really sure what the hatch / boarded up thing was all about. I did hit my head on it during the night 🙄 I was a lot better than the one I stayed in the night before. I would stay here again. In a double room next time. 😊

Very dirty and molden room. Have never been more sure that a hotels rating has been manipulated than with this one. Was supposed to stay for two nights, but moved to a different hotel for the second night.

Put up on top floor despite requesting lower floor due to mobility issues. Room was awful, furniture ancient and falling apart, stains on walls, room blinds had perished and several lights didn’t work. Absolutely awful stay.

Room was super hot, and old. Shower was rusty. The bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable bed I've slept in. No one ever available at reception. And to top it all off spent an absolute fortune for one night. Do not recommend at all.

This is very run down, brilliant location but a tired hotel. I had no kettle in my room despite having tea coffee and mugs, this was rectified once I brought it up. The staff are fantastic, the hotel itself is just very tired.

Staff fine. Bedroom maintenance poor. 2 lamps without bulbs. TV antennae bust, informed management but not corrected. Tea bags not provided after room clean. No porter support.

We did a 3 night break. The staff were very friendly great people. Lovely social sitting areas. Nice bar and coffee area. The bed room very spacious, beds were clean the bathroom was clean but no window and the vent didn’t work so it smelt damp. We kept the door shut and once we had our showers the smell was not so bad. The sitting area was great space furniture parts worn but nothing really to stop us going back. Location very convenient. Nice cafes restaurants local convenience stores. Would I go back there YES!

Select hotel becuase of the location and free parking, which was essential but when we got to the hotel, was told parking offsite but when got to the space, there was only 6 parking spacing, all full, so had to park away from the hotel and walk back. Sink drain bubbling up, even when not in use, toilet constantly dripping, smell of drains always Spoke to reception and they said someone would look at but happen the second night. Walls are also thin, could hear snoring from the other rooms

We stayed in an appartment across from the hotel. Very good spot for beach and transport. Was very clean but needed plenty of updating. Rotton window in bathroom which also looked very tired. The whole room did need a re vamp but served us very well.
