Hotel Castex was wonderful! We had a pleasant stay with the location being very central and with the staff being so kind. Our roomed was cleaned every day with fresh towels and a made bed which was very nice to come back to each evening. WiFi is an included amenity however the connection from our room was very poor so anytime we needed to use this service we had to step into the lobby. If you are planning to do any work on the WiFi just keep that in mind. Besides that, all amenities were present and the property was great. We would definitely book this hotel again and we cannot wait to come back.

The building is a little run down in places but the air con is fantastic, the beds were very comfortable with fresh white sheets and the breakfast was fresh, French and plentiful. It is quaint and very French and the location is very central. Not at all noisy on a night. The lift is teeny but at least it has a lift!

교통편이 버스나 메트로 전철 등 이용하기 좋았고
주변 지역에는 가게들과 레스토랑들이 많아서 물건을 구입하거나 식사를 하는데 비교적 편했다.
호텔 아침식사는 자유롭게 갖가지 빵과 음료와 요크르트를 먹을 수 있었으며, 커피 머신을 통해서 종류별로 커피를 선택할 수 있었다. 전반적으로 이용시설도 나쁘지 않았다.

My room was tiny the space was very limited so even though I had a small closet I didn’t even feel like unpacking my clothes. To walk side to side of the room the other person needed to move off the way. Good thing was that we were on the 4 floor and had elevator. But my key card got deactivated twice in a 4 days stay. Need to update the locks on doors.

The hotel is under renovation and the serious problem is that it doesn't have air conditioning. On the hottest summer days, it's impossible to sleep; you sweat constantly, day and night, you don't get any rest.

Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are small like every boutique hotel in Paris, but they were clean and comfortable. Great air-conditioning, hot water for showers, and rooms were quite being located mid-block.
The location is great, so convenient. One block from the Metro, which is easy to navigate and we took all over town. Walk to Notre-Dame and other nearby sights. Wonderful restaurants, cafes, and fresh fruit markets.
Best if all they have an elevator/lift, which is rare in a boutique hotel, so getting luggage up and down was easy.

I loved the hotel that people were so kind and the view was spectacular. The breakfast just so delicious could not ask for more however, the shower they could add a shower plastic curtain so the water doesn’t leak out of the shower. Please add handle when coming out of bathtub quite slippery and nothing to hold onto.

Great location. The Marais district is right there, very walkable to all kinds of cafes, sites etc. The property itself could do with a good refresh. The lobby space is unusable for guests, being dominated by a large dining table with gigantic old chairs, which they prefer you not to sit on?. Mattress was fine although it too could be replaced. The other furniture the room (desk, chair, hassock) is from another time, heavy, large, dark and just in the way.
Getting rid of it altogether would help immensely. Bathrooms were upgraded, clean, and functional. Room was very hot when we arrived but opening the window took care of it, although I'm not sure it would have helped much if it had been very hot out. The price was good, for our purposes it fit the bill, but two nights was sufficient.

Le monsieur d’accueil de la soirée était très correct et rien à dire , de même pour la demoiselle du déjeuner , par contre le monsieur d’accueil du matin a continué à téléphoner si longtemps sur des choses personnelles que nous avons renoncé à nous adresser à lui . Nous lui avons demandé d’utiliser la pièce à bagages pour laisser nos valises jusque dans l’après midi , il n’a meme pas daigné nous dire que c’était inutilisable et en travaux et n’a rien proposé en solution de remplacement . Grossier personnage qui en plus ne dit ni bonjour ni au revoir .

The hotel is in a great location. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel, we were assigned a room and given a key card. We went to the room and someone else's luggage was in the room. I went to the lobby to tell the front desk man. I told him that there was someone else's luggage in our room. He said that was impossible. He told me I had the wrong room number. My wife then went down to the lobby and was told we were given someone else's room card.
The room itself was tiny. The walls were dingy and had not been painted in a long time. The most disturbing was there was velcro around the base of the bed. Stuck to the velcro was a large amount of hair.
The breakfast was not satisfying. The cereal was stale and croissants were not fresh.

Not recommended. Scroll past. We expected a small room in Paris. However, the air conditioning wasn't working and it was very hot. There was a lot of heat generated by the fridge inside the wardrobe. The reception staff weren't interested. There was no-one, staff or customers, at breakfast at all.
