Hôtel Mercure Carcassonne La Cité

Good hotel. Just what you expect from a Mercure. Comfortable but not special. Kind staff. The lady at the reception was not smiling very much. Nevertheless, she gave us all the information we needed about the city, so no offence.

Très bien, très joli déco et literie très confortable, hôtel facile d’acces, un accueil très sympathique.

Hôtel très bien situé. Personnel très agréable et très investit. Les chambres sont propres et nous avions accès au jardin. Très bel espace d'accueil et de restauration.

Un personnel incroyable de gentillesse et d’efficience , qui se met en quatre à chaque fois , pour vous donner votre chambre préférée . Pour le repas je recommande le cassoulet , mais chut ! C’est un secret !

Nice quant hotel within an easy walk to walled medieval city that offers many dining options as does the area outside of the walled city. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. It's clean and well maintained with a nice indoor and outside eating area. Rooms were on the smaller side which is typical for older properties in Europe. Definitely would stay here again.

Les bémols de notre séjour : eau de la douche pas suffisamment chaude, absence de chaise dans la chambre, la banquette est trop proche de la TV (on se cogne la tête). Et aussi chien errant en salle de petit déjeuner, quémandant à toutes les tables (hygiène douteuse, risques de chuttes), Pipi dans l'ascenseur en prime. Les plus : personnel charmant.

Excellent hotel located a few minutes walk from the historic castle. Rooms were immaculate and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were also excellent. A very minor issue personal to us was that the cups in the rooms were disposable. Tea is always better in a real cup. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family with small children had a great stay. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Un très gentil accueil, avec de bons conseils pour visiter Carcassonne, que nous avons apprécié. De plus, l'hôtel était calme malgré la présence de groupes.

Great location. Shower water was barely warm though, everything else was fine

The staff was very nice and helpful! Location couldn’t be better for accessing the cité. Very clean. The room was awfully small but the larger rooms seemed to have more beds! Breakfast was nice and varied. The bed was comfortable.

Excellent location very close to the walled city and with easy included parking. Easy check-in in an attractive lobby. Well appointed comfortable rooms complete with slippers and robes. Openable Windows, comfortable bed and pillows. However in our room, and especially in our bathroom, the lighting was poor and needs improvement. Also shower controls were confusing and a lack of grab bars makes showering dangerous. That said , the shower/tub design seems normal based on the many hotels we’ve stayed in in much of Europe. (I just don't understand the half-door separating the shower/tub from the bathroom.) Also no easy access to soap dispenser from seated position in tub. Restaurant pretty good for dinner. We didn’t have their breakfast. It was raining lightly during our visit and as such we were disappointed that the hotel did not have umbrellas to loan.

On vient et revient … Pour : une incroyable gentillesse de l’ensemble du personnel , de la reception , du restaurant , de l’ensemble du staff. Pour : la prise en compte des désidératas de leurs clients , OUI , on peut avoir une chambre préférée (je ne vous dirais pas laquelle dans cet hôtel de peur qu’on me la prenne :) , mais le staff essaie au maximum de satisfaire ses clients. Merci pour tout cela. Dès que je travaille dans la région , je ne manque pas de m’arrêter dans cet hôtel , où je suis bien accueillie et dans lequel je me sens comme à la maison. Je recommande le cassoulet du restaurant , c’est une merveille , savoureux et bien servi . Définitivement je reviendrai ..

Réservé au dernier moment accueilli a 23h par une charmante personne. Hotel très calme . Parfaitement située . Petit déjeuner tres correct . Et la chambre etait vraiment bien
