Wonderful stay at the Blue Elephant, lovely hotel, in a beautiful location with amazing views. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was extremely clean and tidy. I will definitely be visiting again!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything is super new, the rooms were spotless, the bed very comfortable, and we loved the spacious balcony with its beautiful view. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Chania, with many lovely beaches and good restaurants nearby. Parking was easy and free of charge, which was a big plus. Breakfast was of very high quality and a great way to start the day. As a small suggestion, having a bit more variety would make it even better. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. Everyone was incredibly kind and caring, especially Penny and Efi, who were always so welcoming that we found ourselves stopping by reception just to have a friendly chat. When we unfortunately caught the flu during our stay, Efi immediately helped us by arranging a doctor, and thanks to her support we felt better within a day. The restaurant team was also wonderful and took extra care of us while we weren’t feeling well. The hotel also offers a variety of tours, and we tried the JetSki tour, which was super fun and one of the highlights of our trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would love to come back!

Lovely staff. Everything very good

Utmärkt boende och otroligt serviceminded personal. Hotellet håller hög standard. Adult only är konceptet för mig och jag åker gärna tillbaka. Det man ska vara medveten om att det ligger i en backe och att det är mycket trappor.

Gorgeous modern hotel with semi private pools. Fabulous breakfast included. Wonderful staff. We had 3 rooms and an awesome stay. We will be back!

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel mit einem wundervollen Ausblick. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, modern und sauber. Auch die gesamte Hotelanlage war immer sehr sauber. Der Ausblick vom Pool und vom Zimmer aus sind wirklich traumhaft schön. In der Umgebung selbst sind einige Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel selbst liegt auf einem Hügel und hat auch viele Stufen. Das fanden wir persönlich nicht schlimm, sollte man aber können und mögen. Auch ein schöner Stein- und/oder Sandstrand sind innerhalb von wenigen Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Unbedingt an den Strand gehen, welcher sich direkt unterhalb des Hotels befindet (eher links). Mit Glück sind da Schildkröten zu sehen, sehr schön und nur zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Wir hatten auch mal mittags eine Kleinigkeit gegessen die ebenfalls lecker war. Alles in einem können wir die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday with great services. The staff were amazing, always eager to help. They helped me book some sites and tours which were great. The room was always clean and ready before l returned for day which was convenient. Conclusively, the staff and hotel made my holiday experience in Chania brilliant and l would recommend this hotel and experience for anyone.

Struttura mantenuta alla perfezione, personale molto disponibile, attento, veloce e super cordiale. Colazione molto buona e viste spettacolari. A pochi passi dalla spiaggia e dal centro di Almyrida, un piccolo paese con molti ristoranti e fuori dal caos. La salita per raggiungere l’hotel e’ un poco ripida ma aiuta a mantenere in allenamento anche i piu’ pigri come me, la vista dall’albergo premia il sacrificio.

We had such a lovely stay at Blue Elephant in Almyrida! The location is peaceful and quiet, about 45–50 minutes from Chania (CHQ) airport, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The absolute highlight was the staff – they were genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Communication before, during, and even after our stay was excellent, and they always made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is very clean and calm, best suited for couples or adults. My partner loved relaxing by the pool, while I made use of the small gym (don’t expect heavy weights, but it’s great for a hotel gym). Breakfast was really good, with enough variety even for us as vegetarians/vegans. The only small thing that could be improved would be having a few more veggie/vegan options on the lunch menu, but with so many restaurants in town, it wasn’t a problem. They don’t do dinner, but again, the local options were fantastic. Overall, it’s perfect for a 5–6 day relaxing holiday. We will definitely be coming back in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Crete.
