Chania 올드타운쪽에서도 가장 바다 쪽에 가까이 위치해 있습니다. 풍경이 매우 좋습니다. 여유가 있다면 바다 전망 방을 선택하면 오후에 멋진 노을을 볼 수 있습니다. 방이 넓지는 않았지만 발코니가 딸려있고, 침대나 화장실도 만족스럽게 되어 있습니다. 제공하는 조식도 음식 종류가 많지는 않지만 전체적으로 맛있고 만족스럽습니다. 바다 항구를 따라서 조금만 걸어가면 사람들이 몰리는 지역이 나옵니다. 음식점, 좋은 바, 분위기 좋은 레스토랑 등 여러가지 선택지가 있습니다. 구경하는 재미가 쏠쏠합니다. 시간관계상 하루만 묵고 크레타 섬의 다른 도시인 Heraklion으로 이동하였지만 여유가 있다면 3일 정도 더 묵어보고 싶은 동네였습니다.

Door was open to our room when we checked in and there was an open bottle of water in the refrigerator. All the staff was quite good, helpful and friendly. The location was perfect to walk all around Old Town Chania and I would recommend.

This is truly THE place to stay in Chania, in my opinion. It's a very nice hotel, waterfront, amazing breakfast, great staff, walkable to tons of restaurants and shopping. SO FUN!! I didn't pay extra for the water view, but we had a side tiny patio with a water view if you look sideways. I really loved this hotel. We were starving when we arrived, and we were talked into eating at the restaurant right next to the hotel (the restaurant guy said they had amazing food - we weren't sure about that, but the beautiful waterfront tables were amazing). Well -- we had the BEST spaghetti bolognaise me and my sister have ever had. For $10 the serving was huge for both of us splitting. We actually went back the next night for more spaghetti. Great find!!!

Great location great staff and great room

The breakfast restaurant staff was awesome, as well as most of the front desk. Unfortunately, the first person we encountered seemed bothered by a request to see if we could get aroom earlier. We arrived very early and understood that it was a long shot. However when we came back several hours later and asked if any update. We received a snarky remark that it would be ready at 3. Ok we get that. I said I thought maybe i missed a call since i was told we would be updated. We then proceeded to watch 3 other people get rooms prior to 3 pm. If they were part of a special hotel program I get it. Like a Marriott. However, family owned. My wife didn’t want to cause any drama but it did put a momentary damper on our 20th anniversary celebration. Beautiful hotel and location. Condescending behavior is not necessary. Bartenders were great too. very friendly and accommodating

The location is ideal close to everything. We loved sitting out on our sea view balcony for morning coffee and nightly drink. The breakfast was very tasty.

Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und herzlich, und wir konnten unser Wunschzimmer beziehen. Dieses war tadellos sauber, modern und elegant renoviert. Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche waren von hoher Qualität und ideal für Allergiker. Besonders erfreulich war auch der Parkettboden, der ein angenehmes Wohngefühl vermittelt. Der Frühstücksraum ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit ausreichend Abstand zwischen den Tischen, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam, freundlich und hervorragend geschult, sodass kein Wunsch offenbleibt. Das Frühstücksangebot war reichhaltig und umfasste frisch zubereitete Eier, Omelettes und köstliche kretische Spezialitäten. Beim Betreten des Raumes wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und erhielten direkt frisch gepressten Orangensaft und exzellenten Kaffee, der an italienische Qualität erinnert. Von kretischem Käse über frisches Obst und Gemüse bis hin zu Lachs – für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei, ob Veganer, Vegetarier oder Fleischliebhaber. Die Sauberkeit im Frühstücksraum entsprach der des gesamten Hotels und trug zum Wohlbefinden bei. Am Abend besuchten wir das Hotelrestaurant und waren angenehm überrascht, da wir bisher in Hotels selten solch hervorragende Restaurants erlebt hatten. Herr Michalis, den wir bereits vom Frühstück kannten, begrüßte uns herzlich. Er empfahl einen ausgezeichneten, trockenen und biodynamischen Weißwein aus Kreta, der hervorragend schmeckte. Seine Empfehlungen zum Dinner waren sehr gut.

Our go-to hotel for stays in Chania; well maintained hotel with comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast service with eggs etc cooked to order as well as an excellent cold buffet selection.

Porto Veneziano Hotel is right in front of harbor. Our hotel balcony has beautiful harbor view. The breakfast was excellent with different choices. The staff is a bit laid back. Although there are restaurants outside the hotel, the hotel location is 10-15 minutes walkable to the center area with shopping and restaurants. still close distance.
