The hotel is nice and has a great location but the rooms have only one very small fan so we couldn’t sleep because of the heat. The staff were great.

BEAUTIFUL! Amazing very clean staff very nice, they have delicious morning breakfast for $5 per person close to everything such a nice view!!

We arrived and room didn’t have hot water, also there were unexpected fees.

Location is amazing but the walls are paper thin and you can hear the full conversations of your neighbors, plus the music of the other hotels or bars in the area as well. The parking is 2 blocks away and locked, can only be accessed with a member of staff, which can be inconvenient if you plan on going in and out a lot. There is also no climate control in the room other than a small, extremely noisy floor fan. Bring earplugs if you decide to stay here.

Pros: beautiful property and room. Built on an old Spanish colonial family “mansion.” The courtyard is filled with plants and flowers. Close to town center but far enough away that it’s not too touristy. The rooms were clean, including linens and bathroom. The mattress is comfortable but the pillows are not (I used my own travel pillow) The WiFi is ok but it goes in and out a lot. The shower is excellent - rain shower head and plenty of hot water. Cons: not deal breakers but noted. First, the hostel next door plays loud music all day until 10pm. It ruins the peace and quiet of the setting, including inside the rooms. Second, more comfortable outdoor furniture would be nice. As it is, there are uncomfortable iron wrought tables and chairs on the roof (which is otherwise amazing - views of the volcano, etc) and an old couch and uncomfortable hammock chair downstairs. Third, with the exception of the man who checked me in, the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. For instance, the woman at the front desk never looked up from her computer to greet me when I came in. When I asked if I could check out at 1pm, (check out is noon) the manager gave me only til 12:30 but no one started cleaning my room til 1:10pm. Finally, the included continental breakfast consists of weak drip coffee, a few slices of cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon, and a slice of supermarket bread, barely toasted. It’s a nice setting for breakfast, though, so I would bring in my own coffee and breakfast items.

From the moment we got there front desk lady was rude and very unfriendly. No customer service ethics at all.

Very comfortable beds. Lovely garden and breakfast option. Good location. Internet in rooms is very weak. Also It is a noisy hotel Thurs-Sun with music from nearby hostel playing most of day ending about 10 pm

O quarto é amplo com cama confortável. O chuveiro não é muito forte mas a água é quente. Tem aquecedor para as noites frias e ventilador pra quando está quente.

Todo muy lindo. El personal muy atento. Una sugerencia: avisar con anticipación que el desayuno no se puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito. Tuve que salir a buscar un cajero automático y la mayoría estaban vacíos (mucha gente había retirado dinero). Perdí tiempo buscando un cajero con efectivo disponible.

El personal es atento y diligente. Buena ubicación.
