코보 베이 호텔

This hotel is ideally located I'm Guernsey with plenty of car parking facilities at the rear of the hotel. The bus stop is very close offering bus routes all over the island. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful and always pleasant. This is my third visit to the hotel but this year my single room was smaller on Floor 1 to that on the top floor where I've previously stayed so that was a disappointment

Everything was great

I've stayed here several times over the past 13 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well kept with extras you might not expect in 3 star. The big attraction is the outdoor dining area overlooking Cobo Bay where you can watch the sunset while eating delicious food that's always immaculately prepared. Extensive food and drink menu. Several bus routes nearby. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the bay.

Lovely location overlooking Cobo Bay, with sparking sand, crystal blue waters offering fabulous evening sunsets. Our room had a balcony on the front overlooking the bay which was lovely, the balcony is open to the adjacent rooms, we found it surprising that smoking was permitted on the balconies, which was not appreciated, but you find in Guernsey smoking outside in public areas seems to be permitted/the norm?! Staff are excellent, I cannot rate them highly enough… always smiley, happy, polite, helpful. They work very hard all day/night and the hotel runs like clockwork. So nice to see well presented matching tidy uniforms being worn. Housekeeping staff were also superb, cleanliness/servicing of room was to an excellent, top notch standard. Breakfast also excellent choice, standard of produce, all very tasty. As was the restaurant menu. The room we had was small but well presented. A super king bed was appreciated however far too much unnecessary furniture included which made the room even smaller to manoeuvre. There were two dining chairs in the room which I put out on the balcony as were not required as we had two comfy rattan chairs on the balcony. As the bed was so big I had to shimmy sideways between the end of the bed and dressing table! But better than having a small bed I suppose! Bathroom was well presented, well equipped. Overall I would definitely recommend the hotel but I doubt I would return as it’s somewhat spoilt by the very busy noisy road in front!

La chambre était spacieuse très propre et la literie très confortable. Aucun bruit et de vrais rideaux occultants. Le plateau de bienvenue ne manquait de rien. Thé café chocolat tisanes. Énorme petit déjeuner buffet avec un menu de cooked breakfast à choisir sur une carte si vous aviez encore faim…:-)) Par contre, les “sandwiches “ très copieux vous seront néanmoins facturés plus de 15€. Le personnel de l’accueil était charmant, particulièrement Béa prête à vous aider pour vous guider si besoin. J’ai pu laisser ma voiture au parking de l’hôtel et prendre le bus avec un arrêt à 3 mn . Seul bémol, il y a une route qui passe devant l’établissement pour rejoindre la plage en face. Dans l’ensemble, je recommande le Cobo bay hotel.

Fabulous position for the sunsets. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive. Main issue was the busy and noisy road at the front of the hotel. Food excellent.

Staff friendly and helpful. The room was small but had excellent views of the bay which made up for it plus having a balcony in the current hot weather was very useful the main road in front of the hotel is a bit nosy but because of the views you put up with it more than happy to stay there again a very enjoyable long weekend celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary - They also offer a very good breakfast each morning we eat in their restaurant a couple of nights food was also too a very good standard

Loved our room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful bay. The catering for the Sunday gig was delicious as was the breakfast and all food . The staff were so helpful and efficient

We had room 103 absolutely wonderful view. Restaurant service and food excellent. Will definitely book again.

Lovely relaxing stay. Restaurant and bars were excellent. Food was brilliant and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The location was perfect with the exception of the road that ran between the hotel and the beach, but you soon got used to it.

Every staff member made you welcome and well looked after love to go there again

The hotel is in a Great location with stunning views of the sea and sun set. The staff where great and the food was excellent. Some storage area was very hard to access, the bathroom needs a redesign, It was so badly laid out that when you sat on the toilet you had to be VERY careful not to burn yourself on the VERY hot towel rail, ( I did once) Towel rail was to close in front of you. The boxing around the back of the toilet need changing as this is to high and when you bend to wash your face in the sink you hit the tile edges with your right arm.

Spacious, light room. No aircon, although a tower fan was provided free of charge. Small table top in-room fridge was an extra (minimal) charge per night though. Modern bathroom, shower looked great but shower tray bowed a little underfoot and wasn't the biggest space to shower in. Staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room was spacious with views out to the sea. Breakfast was delicious.

It's situated opposite the beach and has a good bus service. Great Seaview walks. Great outside restaurant. Staff are brilliant and rooms are clean.

Staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast good. Bedrooms very clean with ok facilities, but dark. Housekeeping excellent,friendly and discreet. Negatives....very busy road from early morning to evening. Due to ongoing refurbishment terrace pebbled and uneasy to walk upon. Bar area has no windows or atmosphere so uninviting, dark and gloomy. Worse things 1., nowhere to sit outside if not dining (sat at rear in staff area just to sit and relax) ..2.expensive restaurant which charged tips for residents .3. Hotel focus was on dining and sunset seekers rather than guests 4. Isolated and nowhere to relax in the resort

We had a great stay in guernsey and Cobo bay hotel was really nice, staff were friendly and accommodating, the menu was nice although we eat at various places around the island and all where great. Although the room was a little tired it was clean with lots of little extras, the slipper and robes where a nice touch. We hear the hotel is getting a refurbishment soon and we are planning to return next year and seeing how things have changed.

Stayed here on a trip with work for 4 nights and was very impressed with EVERYTHING, the front terrace looking out over the sea was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable well stocked tea trays and cleaned daily, staff very friendly and bar service and selections exceptional, I’d highly recommend staying here

Very comfortable and quiet room, excellent breakfast and evening meal. A great position opposite beach. Nothing to fault

Booked this for a short 4 day visit the sea view rooms were definitely worth it, room was nice and clean everyday, staff were extremely nice, friendly and very helpful with getting around the island and the food was lovely
