The receptionist was amazing. Very nice person and accommodating. We had booked apartment late around 7pm and we called right after booking and they were ready for us. We had a nice big 3 beds room apartment. Modern furnished, big terrace, apartment was clean. A/C in living room. Shutters on windows for better sleep. It was an excellent stay.

I have been meaning to write this review for more than a week but have been caught up with a busy travel schedule. I had a great stay at Grand Budapest Apts and this is mainly due to the excellent customer service I received from Zsolt Kovacs who works in reception. I originally was supposed to stay in another location but due to an issue, I was thankfully transferred to Grand Budapest Apts where Zsolt met me on the street to pay for the taxi since it was a booking mistake that they did not plan on. Check-in was very simple and I was put in a 2 bedroom apt which could fit at least 6-8 people. Since it was just me, of course the apartment was very comfortable and very clean. WiF was very strong and so was the water pressure (2 things I always need in a hotel or apt.) It should also be known that the place is located on a party street in Budapest but since I was on the top floor and facing towards the courtyard, I heard nothing. Zsolt also gave me some great recommendations during my stay in Budapest and also called a taxi to take me to the train station when I departed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Budapest who appreciates great customer service.

Our apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient, we could walk everywhere quite easily. Amanda at reception was super nice and gave lots of helpful tips. Would definitely stay again :)

방에 대한 불만은 없으나 호스트가 분명 6인실을 예약했음에도 불구하고 인원이 4명인것을 보고 멋대로 방을 바꾼 기분이었습니다. 2박을 예약했는데 1박은 4인용 아파트, 1박은 6인용 펜트하우스였으나 4인용 아파트에는 욕실이 두개인데 6인용 펜트하우스라고 다음날 이동한 옆방은 욕실이 하나더라구요. 아무래도 4인인것을 보고 맘대로 방을 바꾼 느낌이었습니다. 기분이 좀 나쁘더군요. 그러나 방의 청결상태나 편안함은 좋았습니다. 카드키가 아니고 호텔이라기보다는 렌탈하우스이기 때문에 열쇠가 하나이고 쉐어할 수 없다는게 단점입니다. 호텔이 아닙니다. 에어비엔비같은 개념으로 보세요.

Fijne accomodatie. Alles in de buurt dus perfect voor een citytrip. Alleen hadden de slaapkamers geen gordijnen alleen lamellen waardoor we iedere ochtend onwijs vroeg wakker waren.

Baño con olor desagradable, edificio y apartamento abandonado. Tuve que comprar desinfestante para limpiar el baño... No me gusto, porque lo mas importante para mi es el baño de habitación.

Très moderne, propre et neuf appartement avec terrasse. Il n'y a pas de grille-pain. La rėception n'etait pas ouverte lors de notre arrivé. On a du patienter 10 minutes sur le trottoir puisque personne ne rėpondait à la porte. Nous étions pourtant å l'heure convenu. C'est un peu insécurisant. Bel appartement.

Perfekt beliggenhet, med gangavstand til alt, og mengder av restauranter i nærheten. Grei standard, meget romslig og ok renhold. Fikk rask tilbakemelding og god hjelp ved henvendelse til resepsjonen. Egentlig flott leilighet, men kanskje litt manglende vedlikehold. Alt i alt fornøyd.

L'appartement avait bien trois chambres avec des lits confortables et le wifi ("Appartement Standard, 3 chambres"). Mais pas de rideaux ou volets (simples voilages). État général très moyen (meubles cassés, plafond en placo brut, prises électriques déboitées, ampoules non fonctionnelles...). Absence de sèche-cheveux et articles de toilette, contrairement à l'annonce.

Purtroppo mi sono trovata malissimo avendo prenotato con Expedia perche' in 4 di cui una bambina di 9 anni ed una nonna di 72 anni ci hanno prenotato 2 appartamenti e per noi questo é stato un grandissimo disagio perché avevo prenotato un appartamento proprio per stare insieme... se no sarei andata in hotel ....e sopratutto la spesa doppia ... oltretutto ho scritto subito una mail ad Expedia ma non sono stata assolutamente considerata....sconsigliatissimo .....non prenotero' mai più con Expedia e non lo consigliero' ...

The location was excellent and the rooms were fairly clean. It was in a nice quiet location and the wifi was brilliant. Poor wifi is often the case in many places I've stayed in but not here. My only grumble was that we were charged a fee for cleaning but had to clean the bath out as it was dirty.

Grand Budapest Apartments is in a perfect location for a visit to Budapest. The apartment itself is clean and tidy, has all the amenities we needed including a welcome washing machine and a very welcome air conditioner. Overall the property is let down by being finished with the cheapest possible fittings, fortunately the maintenance were very quick to repair whatever broke.

We have traveled to over 40 countries and stayed at hundreds of properties, this is by the the worst experience. The check-in process was down right terrible. Because the property doesn't have a reception, I wrote to the apartment as soon as I booked the room to informed them what time I will be checking in, received no response. The night prior to our check-in, I emailed the property again... no response. The afternoon of the check-in we waited for over an hour outside the property for someone to check us in. Finally a lady came out of the building and greeted us by asking "what do you guys want?!" (who says that to a guest??) We asked her what happened and demanded an apology. She was extremely rude and refused to give an apology. Subsequently we received the keys she warned us if we don't leave the office she was going to call the police!! Then slammed the office door shut in our face. I have ever been treated like this at any point in my life throughout all my travels. The room itself was nice but not worth the humiliation!!

Kivasti ulkoa hämäs hotellin kunto, sisältä remontoitu ja talon ulkokuori vanhassa muodossa. Hyvin rauhallisella paikkaa oli tämä asunto ja kävely matkan päässä oli nähtävyyksiä paljo.
