호텔 아스카

새로 지은지 얼마 되지 않은 호텔. 방도 욕실도 좋은데 객실 문짝과 프런트는 수리 보강이 필요함

Simple and decent self check-in hotel. Not isuper close to all the attractions, but with good connectivity to the downtown. Many tours with different companies have pickup points close to the hotel. The shower cabin was not very closed because of which water was leaking out to the WC area. There is no restaurant in the hotel, so the breakfast is packed and hung in front of the room every morning - good value for the price. Clean rooms and nice surroundings with a bakery just across the street.

Had a problem with my entry code when I arrived, but an email to the hotel was answered immediately and they reset the code and I had no problems afterwards. Other guests had problems also upon arriving, but I think their problems were addressed as soon as they contacted the hotel also. The lighting in the room is very poor, I could barely see what I was doing and had to see by the light of the tv. Couldn’t read my book in bed at all, and packing in the dark was difficult. In Winter months with short daylight and dark days, this issue should be addressed. The room was compact, but good enough for a six night stay and bed is very comfortable. The pick up stop for excursions is very conveniently located at a nearby hotel (4 minutes walk). I didn’t have a car, but it seemed that plenty of parking was available for those who had a car. I didn’t take the breakfast but the supermarket is very close by to purchase some snacks for the room. Walking into town wasn’t too far, or going down to the waterfront for viewing the northern lights was convenient. My stay at hotel Aska was good overall.

Huone oli siisti ja hyvä. Valojen kytkennät olivat oudot, meni kauan että tajusin miten himmentimet toimivat. Peilin vieressä ei ollut pistorasiaa, hiusten kuivaaminen olisi ollut helpompaa peilin vieressä. Patterit oli laitettu kiinni joten huoneessa oli kylmä. Lämpenivät kyllä kun avasin ne.

The rooms were great, including the bathroom and the bed was really comfy. The layout is almost like a mix match. We were on the second floor but our room was on the other side of the building so we got off the elevator (1 checked bag, 1 carry-on and 1 personal) then had to walk down a flight and then up a different flight of stairs to access our room - this is after landing at around 7am and heading straight to the Blue Lagoon then checking in afterwards. I wanted to cry, good thing we went to find the rooms before unloading the car. I would recommend a room near the elevator. The housekeeping staff were great (it’s a self check in so we didn’t see any other employees). We requested our rooms be together and they accommodated us. The location was great and there is parking in front and in the back. Hotel Orkin, across the street was one of the pick up locations for the Northern Light Tour, so extremely convenient. I also placed a grocery delivery through the Wolt app and had no issues finding nearby stores. Again, would recommend but highly suggest requesting a room near the elevator.

The room was nice, bathroom was small. One recommendation I would make is to put some hooks on the wall or something to hang coats. Since space is tight in the room, hooks would have been very helpful.

Room was very clean, bed was probably the most comfortable as far as hotels go. Staff-less concept was ok as I didn’t have any issues. I would stay here again!

Very good accommodation. All self service (not everyones cup of tea) but I loved it. Rooms very good and comfy beds. Room even had a refrigerator that is very rare to see I would say

Ikke fått tilgangsinfo. Så foran gatedøren i regnet ringte jeg fjernstyrt resepsjon. Tok lang tid pluss, fordi alt var programmert på klokka, fikk jeg kun tilgang til lobbyen, ikke til rommet. Gor dette måtte jeg vente til kl.15.00 Resten var greit, bra seng og dusj.

Its a self check in hotel. Wich the information about was terrible. After calling the hotell they sent the check in information. It was not a bad stay but really not price worthy

We had a trouble getting the pin pad work, but when we called the contact number at the door they solved the problem right away. Room is very clean and also the bathroom as well, it was very nice. Only thing was there’s no closed door in the shower, so water kept running out and it was little hard to keep it dry the area.

Cute hotel, no staff onsite but they were very responsive! Walkable distance to downtown!

Hotel Aska was beautiful. It is all serve yourself pretty much but the room and surrounding areas were very clean. It is a very walkable area with the city center only 20 minutes away by foot.

Layout of hotel was confusing but clean and reasonable.

Það eru einhverjar verslanir hér við götuna en her er ekki boðið upp a morgunmat ,og ef gengur illa að opna með coda þa er hægt að tala við folk i sima og a ensku

The bed was good, the bathroom is like a closet, showers not hot enough. The biggest benefit was really fast service when. Requesting things moike a fan or toilet paper.

Il bagno era molto sporco, il soffitto della doccia con l’intonaco scrostato che cadeva a pezzi. C’è l’ascensore solo per alcune parti, per arrivare alla nostra camera abbiamo dovuto passare anche una parte di scale esterne sotto la pioggia senza ascensore. Il codice della porta di sblocca alle 15:00 non provate ad arrivare dieci minuti prima o resterete fermi nel corridoio. C’era anche una ragazza che lavorava lì ferma con noi che non ha nemmeno detto una parola ne un saluto. Di positivo la camera era molto spaziosa e con frigo e bollitore. Parcheggio in strada gratuito.
