볼케이노 호텔

가격 대비 굉장히 넓고 좋았습니다. 숙소가 살짝 외진 곳에 있어 오로라 보기에 굉장히 좋았습니다. 저는 제일 끝방이었는데 방 내부에 외부로 출입 가능한 문이 별도로 있어서 오로라 보기에 편리했습니다. 방도 크고 좋았는데 , 다만 방 크기에 비에 라디에이터가 작아서 인지, 아주 살짝 추웠습니다. 근데 아이슬란드 숙소는 엄청 따뜻하다 할 정도의 방은 없었던 것 같아서 만족했습니다. 조식으로 나온 와플도 맛있었어요!!!

Good place to stay. close to some attractions. owner was so kind. we could use his kitchen. breakfast was so good. but a little bit far from Vik.

This place looks like nothing from the road. Probably an farmhouse at one point. They had some nice Christmas lights on the building to cheer it up. They are maybe 5 miles (8 km) west of Vik. The road to town goes up and over, with some switchbacks, so it could be dicey for tourists in the winter if the weather is bad. I was traveling with my daughter, so the room with two beds (room #2) worked out well. I really liked this place. The young man who checked us in was friendly and effective. The room was nice and clean and quiet. We had flown in from the USA, arrived at Reykjavik at 7 am local time and spent the next 12 hours sightseeing and driving, so when we got to Volcano Hotel, we were tired. Ran into town for dinner. They leave the front door of the hotel unlocked and go home for the night, so that tells you how safe things are. There are not many other businesses or people around. The hotel has a southern view and you can see the ocean not too far way. The shower was a bit odd for an American, but I have no complaints. The water was hot and the water pressure was good. No surprise in Iceland. The bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast was the best we had in Iceland in our 4 days. Included with the room. A young man cooked us scrambled eggs to order, but the items they had out for us were excellent. (Breads, cheeses, meats, etc) The little espresso/latte/coffee machine was a nice added bonus.

Hotel simples e charmoso. Localizado um pouco fora da cidade de Vík, mas não mais que 15 min de carro. O café da manhã tem horário bem restrito, mas a oferta, apesar de simples, foi bem completa e saborosa.

Welcoming staff who were available and accommodating. There was a good variety of choices for breakfast.

Good room for the price, northern lights views

It was cold in the room when we arrived, we had to turn on the heater. Breakfast was boring, but we got offered scrambled eggs.

It’s been a pleasant stay here. The hotel is a good midway point in the South. Room is spacious & clean. The breakfast was decent & eggs were served fresh/by order. The guy receptionist was friendly/helpful. Overall enjoyed stay here, thank you!

トイレの水漏れやシャワールームの構造が悪く、周りが濡れてしまう点が少し気になりました。

La habitación cumplió para poder dormir un día ahí, el desayuno si está bastante completo y rico.

Although we only stayed one night, the place was charming and was very nice. There were no light pollution around, and it felt like the perfect place to view the northern Lights. Unfortunately, the night we stayed, it was very cloudy. The staff was great! Very helpful. We loved the personalized service during breakfast. The mountains and ocean view was great! We highly recommend this place.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, alles sauber und ordentlich. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Allerdings war alles etwas unpersönlich, es gab kaum Kontakt zum Personal. Das dieses Hotel in einer Umgebung mit vielen Touristen aber nur wenig Infrastruktur liegt, merkt man am Preis...

Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Clean room.

We got the room with the ocean view, and we had a nice sitting area on a wood deck overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was wonderful and the selection was great. One of the friendly staff shared with us that we could hike behind the hotel up a hill and it overlooked a beautiful lake with two glaciers as we crossed the top!! we walked back along a little stream, which was the spillway for the glacier Lake and came upon a black sand hill that was like a gorge between two mountains as we hiked. This was one of the great places we stayed in Iceland.

Very clean and large rooms. The staff, especially Paulina, were very friendly and helpful. The view is fantastic.

Staff was excellent. Room was clean. Breakfast was a nice spread with a scrambled egg, breads, meats & cheeses. This is a good basic hotel. I would stay here again if I were coming back to Vic.
